I have seen a Lynx frome abut 2 meters. It was on it way down a tree and spotten me. I was just a child and it looket at me. I froze on that spoot for abut 10 min. I never braked the eye contact. It was like it was wondering who I was. After it just jumped down and run in to the forest.
Later I got to know it was a female that came every year to have her cubs in that forest. I even saw her again later with 2 cubs.
Lynx is one of my favorite animals. Even love the latin name ”Lynx Lynx”.

THE MILLION-DOLLAR QUESTION: Will you go to Heaven when you die? Have you lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain, or lusted (which Jesus said was adultery, Matthew. 5:28)? If so, God sees you as a liar, thief, blasphemer, and adulterer at heart. If you die in your sins, you will end up in a terrible place called Hell. But there's good news. Though we broke God's Law, Jesus paid the fine by dying on the cross: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John. 3:16). Then Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds of eyewitnesses. He fulfilled all the prophecies of the promised Savior. Please, today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will forgive you and grant you the gift of eternal life (Ephesians. 2:8,9). Then, to show your gratitude, read the Bible daily and obey it, join a Christian church, and be baptized. Visit t.co/jp8bFXYtmE and t.co/xnaFXWz1gr.

I've been lucky to have witnessed the hummingbird hawk moth. They are also in Canada. The one I saw was in Stony Plain, Alberta which was thoroughly enjoying my pot of overflowing petunia flowers. Its body had stripes like a bee, very long antennae, long proboscis, and very transparent yet iridescent colored wings that beat so fast you could see through them. At first I thought it was a hummingbird due to its size and movements.

I'd been an avid [frustrated] naturalist ever since I started to walk. I had always been so keen about nature documentaries, especially about birds and reptiles. I could say that I somehow saw more or less all the types of birds in books and videos. And it can get boring. I cannot remember when was the last time I saw an animal that I'd never seen before. I've seen and know all the animals in this video, EXCEPT the Long Wattled Umbrella Bird... This was the very first time I heard and saw that bird. And I was blown away 🤯🤯🤯

Georgia as well, unless there is a similar moth that is large and does the same as this species.
If memory serves me, it is a different moth here that does the same thing from evening to morning. I believe it was bigger and more of a white/ grey color.
It was slightly bigger than a humming bird and the moth mentioned in this video.
It was beautiful and wondrous to behold.

Lots of comments saying that the hummingbird hawk moth can also be found in the US... which isn't true, at least not for this species. The moth in the video is only found in Eurasia and has the latin name Macroglossum stellatarum. What are known as 'hummingbird moths' in the US are known as 'bee moths' in Europe (if this is familiar to anyone) and are part of the genus Hemaris. They also fly like hummingbirds, so you can see where the similar name comes from.

Crocuta crocuta, parahyaena brunnea, proteles cristata commonly known as the aardwolf(as mentioned in this video, it has stripes} and hyaena hyaena commonly know as the striped hyena and as the name implies it is striped.

Other than the leucistic animals and the Golden Cave Catfish, I' seen pretty much all of these wonderful critters. In person, I've only seen a few, like some of the sea cucumbers and slugs. One critter you could have had in this video that a lot of folks may not have seen before and is just fascinating to look at is the Leafy Sea Dragon. They're related to Seahorses and just simply gorgeous. I've seen one of those at the Monterey Aquarium. :-)

"scientists" do have a better way of naming things. It's called zoological nomenclature. You gave the common name for every animal, scientists don't make common names.
