Noooooooooo. Another classic destroyed! You should have rotisserie restored it back to concours original and then sold it at a vast loss. Of course I would have bought it myself but it would have meant stopping drinking and getting out of my armchair. Frankly I am just too busy insulting people on comments boards to restore cars anyway 👍👍
at least you are honest.
Know what ya mean.
😁🇬🇸🤘
I'm with ya on that ! 🤭👍
One car sacrificed to provide parts to complete many others is a positive.
Don't mind the haters! Good job saving what you could, and getting more parts back out into the world! Go Iron Trap, keep moving forward!
its unreal how many parts you guys have accumulated ! shame you had to cut one up. but we understand you need the extra space! keep the vids coming!
Before the haters start rolling in, as Mike said there were no buyers and the car itself was in rough shape so I see this as fitting.
Only tried to sell it for two weeks.
@@randall1959 Well if the price was very low and no takers then I would do the same thing !
Only 2 weeks?
Can't save 'em all !!
While it pained me that ya'll cut up a pretty good car. Cars will be saved by the parts...and I get it you are a business. You can't save them all.
Hope someone can use any or all of the 46 parts. Good of you guys to put in the time and effort to save anything usable! Many people would scrap everything. You guys really care.
I attended Good Guys Columbus (OH) for several years in the early 2,000’s. At the time I owned a 1936 Ford Tudor slantback sedan (street rod). Don’t recall the exact year but I went down and POOF! pretty much all of the sedan-style street rods were no where to be seen and had been replaced by an ocean of muscle cars. I took it as a sign and got rid of my ‘36 shortly thereafter. You just can’t turn a blind eye to the “ageing out” aspect of the hobby. Muscle cars are riding high now, but trust me, there will come a day when no one cares how cool you think your car is.
Noticing the difference between Steve and Ryan was hilarious. Don't think Ryan is a car guy. Not many guys his age are. Hate to see a body go but at least you saved some hard to find parts . You just can't keep everything. 👊😎👍
Dude!!! Teach that kid to wear PPE!!!!✌️
Every time I watch you guys cut some car up I think of Ian Roussel wondering what he'd utilize those scraps for; another of his artistic creations.
A great pity no one could be found to take on the 46-48 tudor. Not the most popular body style I guess. In my youth we referred to them as a "house" ,because of the size of them especially the sedans.
As Mike said they are not that valuable. Even a 40 two door does not bring much. Some excellent NOS parts in the mix! Thumbs up.
These days 40 coupes can be had for 3k.... sad times, still, for those of us who love hot rods AND love the history...its a sad sight. Ive cut up a cpl cars, they were waaaaay worse and they hurt to cut up. I dont ever want to get to where it doesnt hurt a bit though
You always know when Steve means business...he'll be puffing on a heater. Steve's the best. Mike knows his stuff too. Good combo.
Too bad no one had a use for it. Looks VERY solid but that's show biz, I guess!
Would have thought someone wanted to build an old moonshine runner outta that car. If that was a Plymouth around the same year I may have been interested.
Unless it had a clear title and was 600 bucks that is not the kind of car people buy to build. Most states make titles hard or impossible so it was destined for parts
Sharp blade in that Sawzall. 🙂
I thought it said you guys were going to roof chop it!😆.....which would've been cool to see too.......👍
Nooo. I was out of town working for a month and I would have gave you $3500. Damn it
I see the old fork truck is turned around is it running ok now
Good Morning from Louisville, Ky
Steve doesn't puff on those cheap a$$ Phillies.
Make a Bonneville bomber out of it.
guy keeps a battery in his mouth
Dam that look like a solid body🥲🥲🥲🥲
a 300 lb woman is a solid body. she'll crush your pelvis with that solid body. ha-ha-ha-ha.
😢. Understand but sad
Moon waned that one out wind hide on the wild life snacks lol
Dumb very Dumb 😊
It was pretty good body. 😢
I don't think 'junk' is the best of terms for this stuff, these are hard to find, rare and to some people who are trying to complete projects, these are unobtainium and precious parts they will pay good money for, so junk? No.
OUCH
Sad.
This that are in injection should call and get involved it was probably given to u pass it on to a new home u guys may also learn a new word NO U CAN T SAVE IT ALL U GET MULTIPLE CALLS ANOUT CARS BE THE MIDDLE MAN POST THESE FOR OTHERS U WANT MORE PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE HOBBY GET THEM OFF THE COUCH
😃😃😃
Wouldn’t it be quicker and easier to put it in the big red truck and drive it to the scrap yard? Just curious.
Without a title, cutting it up is required
@@tradrodsandcustoms Really? It’s hard to imagine that is considered a vehicle, but then I don’t think like the government.
@@jhwk1970 our local yard wont let us scrap a firewall without a title...just by itself...its to prevemt theft but its a bit ridiculous
We kept 90% of the body. Just cut it up to part out.
Great video. Don't stop with the Ford. Continue and do the forklift. Work on the the '34.
Thank you Mike for the update on how things are going there in Pennsylvania !
Thanks Mike, you still have a mountain of parts to move! And time is running out, not that I need to remind you, hope it's going well!
39 to 48 sedans are pretty hard to turn into a cool looking rod. With those big ole bodies.
Thanks Mike ------ Hope you Guys have a Good Week ------- Rodney
Steve, what is the ring size on that cigar, lol!
Mike is a hard & knowledgeable worker. a great combination!
You had to do, what you had do. 😢🥴

#PHILLYPHILLY 🇺🇸
You need to show more videos of Steve with a stogie in his mouth
Noooooooooo, quick, glue it back together
So others can live. Good job.
looks like that big ol' useless forklift had some usefulness after all. i couldn't quite hear what saw blades mike was using... help a fella out?
Diablo “Automotive Dismantling” they rule!!
Nice chop shop job Mike you do good work !
No Iron Trap Rat Rod garage?
Treasure trove!
like 775 !
🤘🏼⛽️✊🏼
You should be wearing gloves, that rusty metal is pretty toxic if you get a cut !
You internet safety nazis crack me up. Next your going to tell them how to wipe their ass!
B.S.
No safety glasses! Mike you know better!
Good job cutting it up now put it all back together. 👍
Did the guy ever finish the yellow t on the a frame?
Nope life got in the way
Man... I was going to buy that body. Didn't you get my messages?
Where were you sending the messages?
Couldn't find a buyer so you destroyed a good car. OH BOY. I'll make sure that I never go to your garage.
“Good car” with the roof, a-pillar, floor, and lower body rotted out… if we can’t even get a low ball offer for the body we can’t just keep it around for sentimental value.
@@IronTrapGarage some people just don’t understand Mike.
Please,.. Dont...
I'm guessing this seemed funny to you as you wrote it. Humor does not always come across in text. I bet you know that selling the parts is currently the best option.
No, the prior owner destroyed the car. ITG saved the parts that were worth saving and by doing so saved an inexperienced restorer from spending way more on a car project than it was worth. If you followed this channel, you'd know how dedicated these guys are to making sure nothing valuable goes to waste.
