You should report that to your local dept of land management or whatever college you have that studies local wild animals, they’ve been documenting LOTS of weird animals in Texas lately, including massive crocodiles 🐊
No way- today, October 15, 2024 I saw one in Austin, Texas. It was dusk, and I got a full view! I live in Northwest Hills. I was researching videos on the ringtails. The tail was just awesome.
I was face to face with one. Not more than 2 ft above my face. I had never heard of one and until the next day i was trying to figure out how a lemur got here. Lmao
Btw that was only a 30 min drive from hoopa. I went to school at a branch of the college of redwoods that was on the reservation. I'm quite familiar with the area. I've obviously not been to many Indian reservations but I would think that not many are as beautiful or resource rich. It is a stunning place. The mountains are vast and the rivers are exquisite. The road is dangerous if not careful, but it's worth the risk. I wish I'd never moved back to civilization. It appears that people have lost their dam minds
A large male Ringtail lives under my house, I live in Sedona area, next to a creek, this Ringtail has lived under my house for many years. One time I dumped out a cup of coffee with oat milk under my tree next to my driveway because I was in a hurry, when I got home that night, Mr or Mrs? Ringtail was checking out the coffee cup, very interested in it & the coffee, they seemed to really like the smell, wild thing to see! They were so interested, they didn’t even run away when I pulled up in my car, just kept right on sniffing & licking the coffee cup, I thought, Et tu Ringtail? 😆 how fn CUTE 🖤 How about you STOP attempting to glorify the abuse & slaughter of nonhuman animals via claiming their deaths are ‘important’ to tribal peoples… NO. Abuse & slaughter is NOT to be preserved. They can fn evolve or they can fn die out, good riddance.
Keeping the team together. Awesome video Jacob
They are such cute little animals! Thank you for this informative video 😊
We just saw one in our neighborhood in Austin Texas!

@@ThecodexnoirThe game warden has pulled alligators out of the retention ponds in Del Valle, Texas the last couple of years!
Very interesting video. Thank you for sharing this. I had no idea these animals existed. 😮
😢 please keep them safe.
Was at Agua Caliente campground in Anza Borrego, CA. Saw one eating berries in a desert fan palm.
Have you ever seen a ringtail in the wild? 👀🔍
They're everywhere in Cali from the coast to the sierras
I dunno about putting collars on wild animals
