Honestly, I really like the 2005 version of King Kong because I’m a massive Lord of the Rings fan and it’s directed by Peter Jackson, the same director of the LOTR trilogy. The 3-hour running time it’s very similar to the 3 LOTR movies and this movie actually was released two years after Peter Jackson finished his LOTR trilogy.
