I enjoy your content and I appreciate that you’ll occasionally try to cover f2p/low spender perspective but here you are missing the mark on one huge factor and that is equipment. Now things may be different in lower seeded kingdoms, but as I’ve only been in A or higher (closing in on 2 yrs playing and low spender) I can easily say I would not be trotting out 4 or 5 marches anytime soon, and really only field 2 atm. And archers aren’t part of the mix and have moved on from even the thought. They are slow and get focused, resulting in massive hospital bills. Scipio/Alex isn’t as good as guan, but the speed is great and Nevsky with whoever is fantastic. When I can finally get gear I’ll have Saladin/William as the best 5551 pair in the game. It’ll be a while till that happens and ages before I could field another pair with decent gear. You also don’t talk about all the rss and speedups you’d require for healing all those marches
I have to disagree with your Saladin assessment. In MGE the lower rewards follow: 26-35th place is 3 Saladin heads 36-45th place is 2 Saladin heads 46-50th place is 1 Saladin head There are (last I played) 6 chances to get Saladin. As long as you place a combination that lands you with 10 heads after six attempts you get a top-tier 5551 commander. Museum buffs for Saladin are also coming so at 380 sculptures I would rank Saladin even higher than the must expert 690 gold head Alex.
@@kalaristimere4426 I'm not quite sure what your question is but unless you have Scipio there is no reason to expert Guan Yu. 5155 and he is done. Scipio needs all of his skills so long story short Guan Scipio combo is a 1400 sculpture investment.
Videos like these made me come back to the game after a 1.5 year hiatus! Glad you also mentioned that new archer commanders should be coming soon. I'm hoarding sculps to see if they would be better than boudica - if not then I can safely invest in boudica without any regrets.
I have been playing RoK for 18 days now and you and your channel have helped so much, i haven't wasted any gems, i have 15,000 ready for my first wheelspin, i haven't put any universal heads in my Ragnar or Mulan. Don't focus too much on wheel spins. Put gems into VIP during more than gems event. VIP 10,12 then 14 offer so much value over time than max spinning a wheel
The early game has already been figured out for the most part: 1. Infantry Bjorn + Sun Tzu until YSG is available. Then run Sun + YSG (work on expertising him) 2. 5111 Richard for LK barb chaining 3. Hoard every GH after YSG expertise until SOC unless you're a midspender+
Mehhh.... I think this is like 90% accurate. I would only add Alex to the mix as well. Then hoard. Alex is still a pretty decent secondary, and the shield is good in a murderball Edit: OK, yeah, you're right for f2p. You could probably add him if you're picking up woh packs in the early game though

I kind of wish Lilith gave everyone who started prior to kvk being a thing, the ability to get all the universal sculpts we used, back. I spent a stupid amount on gold key commanders because I didn't have a concept the insane amount of commanders were going to be released
Sculpture velocity is a huge factor when it comes to investments. VIP level, gems gathered, events participated, ranking in power up/speedup events, Ark etc. F2P and low spenders are lucky if they can expertise YSG by the end of kvk1 where as mid, high spenders already have YSG expertised by the 1st wheel of fortune. If F2P, low spenders want Alex expertised, they'll have to avoid putting sculpts on YSG and invest in Alex and then hoard again. So by SoC, invest heads into Scipio Prime and use Alex secondary with good equipment since infantry is the most preferred troop type for kvk1-3.
Yeah sculpture velocity is so important it’s not unreasonable to completely skip ysg. Especially if you plan to make several cav and in marches prior to archer marches
Might be unpopular opinion but I prefer to expertise YSG over Alex. I know people like to recommed infa for F2P/low-spenders than archer but to me the later has better equips and easier to collect, I mean Revival set is so good while you temporarily waiting for its legend set. I've been using Kusu/YSG in KvK1-3, and get good trade. Of course you need to be smart in open field but damn YSG AOE is amazing. Now I'm waiting for Boudica Prime.
@@zaiminnosi2905 YSG is great. Like Chis said, you can use YSG for almost every PvE and PvP scenarios. A great all rounder comm. Having Alex has it's perks, like canyon or armasters lohar etc but in the end it's entirely upto the individual's preference.
Personally me and my friend ran 5511 cm with sun tzu for kvk 1-3, we are f2p. And he nearly got 200m kp and I don’t have nearly as much time to play so I got like 70m kp, but we hoarded all our sculpts so now we have loads for mega comms

I expertised 3 legendary commanders in 1 year,, CM,YSG,ALEX and richard 5511,,, key is gem farming and getting to vip 14 as fast as possible so i get around 1.1k heads per year from vip alone
I just had a blasty blast on my alt this KvK with 5551 Boudica/5555 YSG, 5511 Nevsky/5511 Joan, 5111 Guan/5511 Scipio, 5511 XY/5511 William. Almost all purple gear.
Chis i am a 100% f2p and already playing for a bit more than a year i think. I have 5 open field marches,Nevski/William, XY/Joan, Guan/Scipi P, Boudicca/YSG, and Honda/Tomy. Most of them are at 5111, but it works great and i get good results, also against T5 (i only have T4 troops). I am thinking about to switch out the Honda/Tomy with commanders like Saladin, Trajan, Cyros and Mehmet because it is so damn slow, but right now it works great. I have multiple commanders at the side where i invested sculptures in, but i can say that you as a 100% f2p can achieve the same goals as a light or medium spender, if you are online 2-4 hours a day. There are people in Canyon who have full maxed legendary commanders and equipment sets on, and i am winning against them. I dont know how, but i am always in the top 20-50 ranks of my kingdom (and we have a lot of spenders). The only thing you need to do is unlocking level 10 VIP as fast as possible to get a golden head every day, and saving gems for wheel of fortune!! Some of the MGE commanders can you optain in the legendary tavern and from the hearts desire event, so you also need to save gems for those! But you are not going to use most MGE commanders anyways. The only thing i want now is a good garrison. Of course as it should be with every f2p my garrison right now is Martel/YSG, but i want something better. I have unlocked Theodora and YSS, and can obtain Jadwiga or Zeno in a few days from legendary tavern. I think i will take the Jadwiga and pair her with Heraclius. Jadwiga with the damage against rally boost, and Heraclius against swarm. Most high spenders have a garrison against every troop type and one against swarm, but i think with Jadwiga/Heraclius i can get both things at the same time. And Jadwiga will boost Heraclius Skill Damage (I am cav player anyways, working on expertising my Nevski right now).
Honda is not so great as a primary and when you go against people who know you will be targeted. Idk what people are doing in your canyon but it is ALWAYS better to have fewer marches skilled correctly than 5111 anything. You may get some kills but your hospital bill is going to be outrageous playing this way. Not saying this to be rude but your wasting rss on marches like this

Did anyone else see that relic coins are no longer rewards for troop training in pre kvk and now we only get 20 a day. It would take 3 months now to upgrade a single commander
i'd say for f2p infa = alex. archer = ysg. cav = saladin. ysg is only good in canyon and chaining if youre not archer main. f2p takes forever to expertise 1 commander so choose wisely

@@scassiorocha when you duel or even barb check the battle report. The relics will show up for any comm u have relics on. It does indeed work for primary and secondary. When you pull up you battle report then go to troop buffs you can even click the relic to see if it is single or double relic
I kindly disagree about some investments, but I would like to ask also a gear guide that fits your sugestions. There are some sugestions about minimum gear to fight soc at YT, but I don't think it's possible for a f2p or low spender to make 3 of them by the first soc.
Our kingdom is going season 4. Ang currently im a low spender in cavs main. I have sladin at 5551 and khan 5551, what are the best choice for soc cavs to pick. Nevsky or william? Dont have enough GH to pick both though so i need to pick 1 of them first. Thanks
In my case it has to be Boudica then Scipio instead of a cav march.. because my Mehmed is only at 5211.. so I rather put in Aethel and YSG which are both expertised.. I'm only 2 days away from ending kvk 3 so I think having those 2 first is the best call for me..
Should have recommended to 5111 Richard, good for chaining and very good / only tank you have access to for f2p kvk1, it's so cheap to 5111 richard it won't hinder progress to expertising ysg at all.

Could you post a link to what you are referring exactly? You are saying "this is not a perfect end game arrangement" at the 5 marches configuration part. But it would be nice to know how you would develop this configuration to an endgame arrangement.
Dumb question as I am new but if you do spend on gems if you spend over the recharge amount that gets you bonus items does that overage carry over to the next recharge amount?

I'm so thankful I started playing this game before SoC was a thing. Was able to work on all the commanders in order instead of getting into SoC and just being a bunching bag for years until you can get Scipio, Nevsky, Boudica, etc
Not sure if you'll see this, but here I go. I have a bit of a unique situation for my account. I'm currently in Season 3 of KVK (actually in the Nephisto KVK, love from 2804 BTW, but I'm not taking part as I only have only 1,000,000 power). I have no expertised epics, and my highest level legendary (Charles Martel) is level 34. I am missing all commanders that aren't gold key commanders, except YSG. Actually, I don't even have all gold key commanders yet. I have three pieces of equipment currently as of writing this (all white rarity, whatever that is called). I have no armaments. I've recently become a T3 player. I have 10k gems and 20 something universal legendary sculptures. I'm also, as you might've guessed, completely f2p. So, I guess, what do I do? Is it worth staying in my kingdom, and just invest in newer, better commanders? Or do I migrate backwards? (Sidenote: all of this is because I took a massive break from the game as a result of thinking that I'd never get Constantine (who is really the reason why I play the game)).

bro im not chisguile but i know enough about the game to suggest not to use a full epic equipment marches they only gonna increase ur hospital bill, 3 good legendary eqip marches are better.... But if u have nearly unlimited rss and skips it doesnt matter and u can use 5 march,, but if u wanna get best trades and least hospital bill use 3 march that u have

Guan is is a great commander. That said, getting both guan and scipio is a lot more sculptures, and between guan and scipio, scipio is the better investment. My goal was to give a good starting point, then all your sculptures go into expertising those commanders before you add a 4th or 5th march a couple kvks down the road.
If people are in SoC and still haven't expertised YSG then they should forget about him at that moment. He's either an expertise or skip. Nothing in between. They are better off working on Artemisia to pair with Boudica and they have great synergy. But yeah new archer comm may blow both Art and YSG out of the water lol.
Commanders and armaments aren't enough, you need equipment, which is why it will take me about 6 months into soc to get boudica ysg into the field. I have no archer equipment.

i'd say for f2p infa = alex. archer = ysg. cav = saladin. ysg is only good in canyon and chaining if youre not archer main. f2p takes forever to expertise 1 commander so choose wisely

it doesn't matter being primary or secondary, museum buff works for both

@@scassiorocha when you duel or even barb check the battle report. The relics will show up for any comm u have relics on. It does indeed work for primary and secondary. When you pull up you battle report then go to troop buffs you can even click the relic to see if it is single or double relic
I kindly disagree about some investments, but I would like to ask also a gear guide that fits your sugestions. There are some sugestions about minimum gear to fight soc at YT, but I don't think it's possible for a f2p or low spender to make 3 of them by the first soc.
Our kingdom is going season 4. Ang currently im a low spender in cavs main. I have sladin at 5551 and khan 5551, what are the best choice for soc cavs to pick. Nevsky or william? Dont have enough GH to pick both though so i need to pick 1 of them first. Thanks

In my case it has to be Boudica then Scipio instead of a cav march.. because my Mehmed is only at 5211.. so I rather put in Aethel and YSG which are both expertised.. I'm only 2 days away from ending kvk 3 so I think having those 2 first is the best call for me..

Should have recommended to 5111 Richard, good for chaining and very good / only tank you have access to for f2p kvk1, it's so cheap to 5111 richard it won't hinder progress to expertising ysg at all.

I'm so thankful I started playing this game before SoC was a thing. Was able to work on all the commanders in order instead of getting into SoC and just being a bunching bag for years until you can get Scipio, Nevsky, Boudica, etc
Not sure if you'll see this, but here I go. I have a bit of a unique situation for my account. I'm currently in Season 3 of KVK (actually in the Nephisto KVK, love from 2804 BTW, but I'm not taking part as I only have only 1,000,000 power). I have no expertised epics, and my highest level legendary (Charles Martel) is level 34. I am missing all commanders that aren't gold key commanders, except YSG. Actually, I don't even have all gold key commanders yet. I have three pieces of equipment currently as of writing this (all white rarity, whatever that is called). I have no armaments. I've recently become a T3 player. I have 10k gems and 20 something universal legendary sculptures. I'm also, as you might've guessed, completely f2p. So, I guess, what do I do? Is it worth staying in my kingdom, and just invest in newer, better commanders? Or do I migrate backwards? (Sidenote: all of this is because I took a massive break from the game as a result of thinking that I'd never get Constantine (who is really the reason why I play the game)).

If I’m a low to mid spender and I got the 3 marches for soc, should I focus on legendary equipment for them or focus more on getting the 5 marches that would be without legendary equipment? So which should I delay if I had to choose between the 2?

bro im not chisguile but i know enough about the game to suggest not to use a full epic equipment marches they only gonna increase ur hospital bill, 3 good legendary eqip marches are better.... But if u have nearly unlimited rss and skips it doesnt matter and u can use 5 march,, but if u wanna get best trades and least hospital bill use 3 march that u have

Guan is is a great commander. That said, getting both guan and scipio is a lot more sculptures, and between guan and scipio, scipio is the better investment. My goal was to give a good starting point, then all your sculptures go into expertising those commanders before you add a 4th or 5th march a couple kvks down the road.

My hope is the new archer will have circular AOE to replace YSG not Boudica & be a better pair for Boudica since YSG is harder to max in SoC
If people are in SoC and still haven't expertised YSG then they should forget about him at that moment. He's either an expertise or skip. Nothing in between. They are better off working on Artemisia to pair with Boudica and they have great synergy. But yeah new archer comm may blow both Art and YSG out of the water lol.

Commanders and armaments aren't enough, you need equipment, which is why it will take me about 6 months into soc to get boudica ysg into the field. I have no archer equipment.
