He deserved this, he turned a team that was the complete definition of a lolcow (look up UrinatingTree(that's not a joke)) and turned them into a Superbowl contender. Turns out they weren't ready for the playoffs as a young team in their first year but if this guy can keep doing what he's doing than they should be a great team for a long time.

I AGREE, THIS IS RIDICULOUS. Its right next to Brady winning MVP FOR THE SEASON. Second year coach D. Pederson. He should had gone to the playoff last season if it wasn't for being the top drop passing in the nfl . Beats this team with an injured QB Wentz, then PEDERSON WINS every playoff game while Rams lose their first, Pederson wins with almost all back ups , loses Wentz, wins against the odds, wins the super bowl 52 with a back up QB that every other person said he can't, destroys every team all year. The Eagles are still under dogs. Highly underated and still is.

as an eagles fan sean mcvay truly deserves the award he turned a future bust into a great player , and will be good for many years to come and wish them the best in LA and looking forward to a rematch again in LA and i cant wait going to be there
A couple years ago, one night i was about to propose to my girlfriend when my roommate Joseph out of nowhere barged into the room, tripped, and fell head first onto the glass coffee table. Totally killed the vibe, now I didn't know Joseph that well, don't even remember where he was from, let's just say i put my plans on hold to help him through his injuries.
Joseph had gotten a shard of glass stuck in his eye, which had permanently blinded that eye. For months he walked around with one of those cotton pads covering his eye. Then suddenly, he disappeared, along with my girlfriend!
Apparently they had bonded in the time after his injuries, and eloped together, leaving me without so much as a note. I tried to track them down, but never could.
In conclusion if it wasn’t for cotton eyed Joe, I'd have been married a long time ago. Where did you come from, where did you go? Where did you come from cotton eyed Joe?

Honestly while Sean Mcvay was a good coach, there were four other coaches who deserved it.
1. Doug Pederson: he led what used to be a mediocre Eagles team that was stripped of talent cause of Chip Kelly to 13-3. He coached really well in the playoffs as well and is in the super bowl with a backup qb
2. Mike Zimmer: Once a coach that was on the hot seat. He got the defense playing at a high level and he got a production from his backup qb(Case is better than Sam Anyway)
3. Bill Belichek: Do I even
4. Dan Quinn: How he got a worse Falcons team with the haunting image of losing a 25 point deficit in the last Super Bowl is beyond me. Great focus by the coach

Jeff Fisher is the most underrated head coach in NFL history. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is a successful football franchise. Todd Gurley, Jared Goff, Aaron Donald, are all products of Jeff Fisher's vision among many notable others that make up the Rams roster. Over the course of a few years he placed all the pieces needed for a Superbowl caliber franchise but due to the nescient nature of the Rams fan base he was fired before he could see the fruits of his labor. Sean McVay was fortunate to step into the right situation at the right time. After a few years people will look back and see what I have seen and Jeff Fisher will rightfully earn a spot in Canton.

49ers Empire educate yourself bro...you guys had a starting qb, best running back in the league, elite D-line and offense that was supposively"elite" that got embarrassed by the Falcons haha. Eagles lost Jason Peters, Darren Sproles, Jordan Hicks (our best linebacker), Darby for half the Year, our starting kicker, and CARSON WENTZ and yet despite all these obstacles, we are in the Super Bowl not because we are surrounded by elite talent, but because of our brilliant coaching and the phenominal effort the players put in week in and week out...
Ersan Bunaldo even with all those injuries you guys had a very good roster. Arguably the best offensive and defensive lines in the league if not the top 3. The eagles had a better o line, receivers, running back DUO, cornerbacks, safeties, linebackers, and maybe D line.

Doug took a team with all its player injuries to include Carson Wentz, did the impossible with a back up QB and won not only in the play off when a lot of people wrote them off but won a freaking Superbowl. Yet he didn't win Coach of the year? Politics and hate that's all I can think of. Mcvay doesn't deserve that. He hasn't done a damn thing that Doug hasn't done and more. Like winning in the play offs and a damn Superbowl. Doug got there with the better QB and Backup. That's the truth. Even Nick Foles would have outdid guff.
