Yeah, that rattle of the fuel pump is a familiar sound. We would set our 7720s under an equipment shed between the wheat harvest and then the fall harvest, but once they got started they ran wanderful. But good batteries are the key.
When ever our 2 7720's or 6620 sits a long time they will start on the 1st try if you leave they key on and pump the fuel primer on the injection pump till its stiff. They loose a little prime when fuel tank is lower then the engine.

They sure do sound good when you cold start them. We have a 7720 on my farm that we bought back a few months ago.
