@@cweb1988hell no. Peterson is intellectually dishonest. He's been on a downward slope for very long. I used to think he was profound, but saw through him. He uses lots of words to describe very little, dances around questions and lost importantly thinks of himself as a truth arbiter and authority, as if everyone else could not *possibly* know "what do you meeeaaaan by KNOOOW", but *HE DOES*. he's an arrogant buffoon.
He loses every single debate with anyone remotely intelligent who questions him and doesn't just eat up whatever he says. Look up his debates with Sam Harris, Matt Dillahunty. And in recent interview with Alex o Connor, Alex managed to get a confession out of Jordan - he does know that people are asking about whether things in the Bible have literally historically happened, but guess what, he instead chose to lead people on for several years and when asked by Alex, he admit that he doesn't care that people don't understand him, quote "it's their problem". Then why bother being a public persona at all? Ergo, he knows what people mean when they ask him such questions but chooses to play dumb. He doesn't take his own advice to be precise in one's speech. He obfuscates meanings. He uses different (his own) obscure definitions for words and phrases commonly defined in a straightforward manner.
When challenged he begins to be angry and speak in a tone as if you were stupid to question his line of thought that he implies is superior and obvious to anyone with common sense (which is far from true).
He is as intellectually dishonest as it gets, extremely overrated guy. I just wish he was gone already, we've got enough of him, he's just annoying, doesn't get anywhere in discussions, keeps falling back in "neomarxists" while constantly misunderstanding and misinterpretating their positions (as proven in debates with Zizek).
I literally block videos and even whole channels where he gets to speak unchallenged because he is that fing annoying to listen to.

I want to suggest an error here. Or perhaps a variant?
You both agreed that to correct ideas in myself I need to have conversations to bring light to the error. It’s not a small thing difference here. I believe sometimes we are blessed to be able to listen to a conversation like this and have the same metaphoric shift of paradigm. I haven’t the connections, not made the time to develop the mentors able to help me in person to find my way through these journeys. Yet, both of you men have repeatedly acted a proxy for me personally to help me confront the foolishness of some of my perceptions in a healthy format. These conversations are to myself and others the stand in for those opportunities to safely confront our folly.
    Thank you both.

I admire ye ole Mr. Peterson, and I find it really funny that all his fans in the comments can be identified by their diction. Describing and characterizing Peterson with the very definitive articulation used by Peterson himself in his books and online. Verbatim with what you would hear in his most commonly viewed / widely shared takes. He’s obviously improving the speech of many of his followers, readers, listeners. If they continue to grow their vocabulary without losing themselves in someone else identity they can start to craft their own creative speech personalized to their own creative image by their individualized style and pattern of articulation much like an artist who has their own method to portray the persona in their minds not mirroring another. Then you’re an artist with your own words creatively sculpting the image in your mind into someone else’s.

One of the things I like about him is that the man is a true professional and very well qualified to do so many things and he has and he does. His focus is really helping people. He has transformed and saved millions of lives. Thats A choice. Though he chooses the route of compassion and benevolence. He could just teach or write books. But he travels the world making speeches and he just opened an online university with his daughter. For a quarter of the price people can earn college degrees . Hes just here to educate. It's always easier to do nothing and be pessimistic than to do the hard thing optimistically and gain the better outcome. Those with power have the ability to do the most, yet do the least and expect those with less to deal with the consequences of their inaction and greed. It is our responsibility as a people, as individuals, to do right by ourselves and those around us by climbing out of the mud and reaching a hand back to help those who are where we were. This is because only those who have been in the mud know what it takes to get out of it.

I have a couple of things to say about electricity and electricity prices. I am a student of electrical engineering with a focus on power and distribution networks. At the university, we had a lot of discussions about renewable energy sources. I have to say that my opinion is bad about them. They will never satisfy the consumer line because they are not "safe", I can't go any further with this topic. There may be a collapse of the distribution system because they are unpredictable. Thermal power plants will never be closed because when there is no sun or wind, who actually generates electricity for you? I keep hearing about protests about hydropower plants, and you want renewable energy. Did you know that no method of recycling solar panels has been passed so far and that they are actually toxic for recycling? I probably have limited information, but this is my opinion about today's electricity production and I don't currently see any solution for environmental pollution or for normal electricity production.

MUST READ BOOK: The Queering of the American Child by Logan Lancing and James Lindsay. Also both Rogan and Peterson have podcast episodes with James Lindsay.

JP talks about inter-gender dynamics in ways I've never heard before but really ring true! And as a daughter who grew up with a very overt, aggressive type of narcissist, this search for a beast I could tame was even more pronounced. Led me to many toxic relationships that put me in danger and damaged me now beyond repair.

As much of a fan of Jordan Peterson I am. He clearly has an interrupting problem. It's beyond obvious in every interview he does. The fact that it's not apparent in his interviews with Rogan just goes to show how good of a host Joe is.

This was during his phase of being against anonymity online. One thing he cites is that bad people are anonymous and can bait you into giving them stuff. But this only works on a site where the scammer has a Fake identity, and the victim also has enough of an identity to be targeted.
In a truly anonymous setting there is no way to target someone based on their background and there's no way to know who to contact even if the person was so gullible. Anonymity protects.

These all make sense and I see so many people behave that way, but I also see that all these Sadist and Dark triad people are actually happy and also have their feelings validated by people around them. And they are living a perfect and happy life and also a successful life according to them.
So how is it that what they are doing is wrong and why isn't any bad thing happening to them to teach them a lesson? and why is it that they are easily able to harm others using this immature behavior? And will they ever understand that what they are doing is wrong and behave better?

Keep this guy safe man. @Lord, give this man another 100 years to live so that he shares all his knowledge and wisdoms to the coming generations. We need him alive. Bro really has the ability to open some minds and help people live a better life.
However, I only think the people who want to get better are the only ones who actually listen to you and understand, most people who think they already know shit will not even care to listen to what you are saying and would not even think you actually know what you are talking about, cuz what you are saying is probably exposing them wildly. They probably feel insecure even listening to what you are saying.
