I've been using my 750E for the past 2 years now, before that I had on of their currently discontinued models the Rider 330E. The 330 worked great for me when I was commuting 10 mi. a day on fixed gear. The 750 was a big game changer for me when I purchased a new road bike this year with sram axs etap, as well as purchasing both the speed and cadence sensors from garmin.
I had the first Rider 750 and it was an excellent bike computer for my needs.... Just bought the Hammer Head Karoo 2 and my mind was blown about so many features and the beautiful screen that this device has
One thing the Bryton does, that not many others do, is store and allows you to set an absolute Odometer reading for your bike. This is great when you want to change to a new computer on an older bike and you want to preserve the total Km's history for servicing tracking. It keeps this parameter on the device. Extremely handy for me.
I'm looking into the 750SE at the moment. I got a Rider 330 in like 2017 and then a rider 420 in like 2019. I haven't had any issues with those two Brytons. I had a Garmin Edge 500 before the Rider 330. The Rider 750 has been on my radar since it was first released.
It’s a solid option. Others to consider might be the Wahoo Bolt or Garmin Edge 540. Thank you for watching and taking the extra time to comment. I really appreciate it. 👍
I've had the old 750 for little over a month. I'm generally satisfied with that one. The screen could be a bit brighter and the battery life is OK but not more. On the other hand I bought it for 150$ with the aluminum bracket include. Great price for a touch screen device 😎
I think that's where Bryton's sweet spot is. Low price / high value. But that's just my $0.02. 🤷🏻♂ $250 is getting dangerously close to some very competitive options. Thank you for watching and taking the extra time to comment. I really appreciate it. 👍
@@jonnycarlson9555 - Great choice on the pedals. I think that a good call. You could always upgrade bike computers after a few years but you’ll want that nice power meter in the mean time. 👌
I just got 750T (3 sensors included) for £150. Only bought it as I could not justify spending £60-£70 on wireless Sigma bike computer, or 420H... I am not so sure about the screen brightness... I am on a verge of returning it because of this. But there is nothing else on the market that gets even close to 750T at this price point.
Yeah, well explain video except the navigation part. I mean as long as you update the software every month or every three months the navigation works fine and perfectly. I never had a problem with it.
Awesome! Glad it's working well for you! It was a struggle for me but this video is a bit older now and I've been testing other devices. Thank you for watching and taking the extra time to comment. I really appreciate it. 👍
Thanks for the detailed review. I am considering this bike computer, but it also needs to support my smart trainer, an Elite Turno. For that, the computer needs to allow me to enter custom figures for wheel circumference, in my case 137mm and not the usual figures for 26” - 28” wheels. Is that possible with the 750 SE?
Good day to you! Garmin Expolrer Edge 2 has a feature, name "Incident Detection". Does this device some kind of feature? Sorry for my bad english, I hope, you understand, what i would like to ask :) Thank you for your help!
There's a live track and a group ride feature but nothing like garmin's automatic Incident Detection. That feature is on a lot of their devices and all of their cycling computers if I'm not mistaken. Thank you for watching and taking the extra time to comment. I really appreciate it. 👍
Hello, thank you for your videos! I watched this one as well as the S500 and I really hesitate between these two models what are the real differences? For you which model should I choose? Thanks to you.
I'd probably lean towards the 750 SE at this point. Just make sure you get the current newer model and not the older 750. Thank you for watching and taking the extra time to comment. I really appreciate it. 👍
Hi! What are exactly the differences with the S500 (obviously the screen size...)? Is there any performance difference? What about navigation? Do they still need a smartphone connection to reroute? Thanks
I can’t say for sure because I’ve never tested the Explore 2 on this channel. My gut feeling is that you’ll get more detailed trail names on the Garmin.
It should be the bottom left button when you've got a ride going. Thank you for watching and taking the extra time to comment. I really appreciate it. 👍

I will never buy another Bryton product. I bought a Bryton Rider 750 which I really like but the battery failed after 4 months. They replaced it but it took over a month. The second one’s battery failed after 7 months and over 2 months later I have given up hope that they are going to replace it. Bryton sucks big time. Turn by turn doesn't work always, battery life is about 4 hours max after a year, navigation in general is not as accurate and the compatibility with the mounts is not so good.
