I did the course from RTFX a few years ago. I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone interested in trying out at least the joy of 2D FX animation or even the basics of hand drawn animation. Everything was laid out very good and it actually felt like working with the tutor alongside which adds so much value, the feedback received was very good even though my choices for some effects that I aimed for would've required someone years of experience I did my best and got good feedback. Yes it costs money but on the other hand you get feedback, support which for me gave me confidence and naturally felt the need to do all the homework and it will be even more wise to just make it fun. Will be on the lookout for future courses.
this actually saved me. The wave principle always seemed so complicated to me, and almost never turned out good when I tried it myself.. thank you so much for this!!
I'm trying to learn waves now, this explanation has been very helpful thanks. I'll try the flicking back & forth more as I think I've fallen into relying on the onion skin as you mentioned here. 👍
