I think is so funny how human perspective work... When talking about childhood, or perhaps some "easier times" of life most people usually tell you "life is so short" "life happens so fast" "its a blink of an eye" But when you talk about, for example, ending aging process or living 200 years or more people usually tell you "i would never do that" "god, i would end it by my own choice if that was the case" "who would want to live that much? It would be so boring" All i can perceive by this is that people love life, but hate "adulthood" or our actual social model of "make a living" etc In the end, it all revolves around alienated work reproduction.
Those were the best years brother! I was born in 1999 and I remember watching Fox Kids even at 5 years old (2004) that's the year Fox Years was retired from air in Latin America. I am from Peru btw.

Cool stuff. I was born in 1985 and I remember when we had cartoon shows to watch after coming home from school. My favorite FOX kids show was Life of Louie and Bobby's World. Kind of glad you brought up WB shows showing up as I forgot about that. When WB came on, Fox Kids seemed way lighter.
I was born in 1992 and Fox Kids was one of my absolute favorites growing up. I remember when I was 5 watching Power Rangers and Beetleborgs. And of course the other shows too like Spider-Man, X-men, Bobby's World, and Mystic Knights. I miss Fox Kids so much.

Fox Kids that was ran from September 8, 1990 through September 7, 2002. I remember that I started watching both Fox Kids and Kids' WB in 1995. Power Rangers, Digimon (Adventure and 02), Life with Louie, Beast Wars: Transformers, Ghostbusters: The Animated Series, Spider-Man, X Men, Ironman, and more on that block. And man it was the blast watching the block from 1995 through 2001, and same thing could've said about Kids' WB from 1995 through 2008, and Disney's One Saturday Morning from 1997 through 2000 on network television during my childhood years. Pokémon was originally aired on syndication when it first arrived in the United States in September 8th, 1998 before moving the show to Kids' WB on February 13, 1999. And it became a household name on the children's program block until Yu-Gi-Oh! came by in late 2001. Both of them dominated on Saturday mornings on network television in the early through mid 2000s. As for Digimon, that show was originally aired on FOX Kids on August 14, 1999 on Saturday mornings. And both Pokémon and Digimon was on a war on Saturday mornings to see who is the dominant franchise of all time. Pokémon was the clear winner of that war, because of the franchise keep on growing as many young people (including myself) buying merchandise and supporting the Pokémon franchise as long as possible. The same can be said for Digimon as well, but it was hitting on the road block in the early 2000s in the United States as the trading card packs was not selling that well by Bandai. The anime of Digimon (both Adventure and Adventure 02) was a lot better than Pokémon anime. Because it has story in depth that filled each characters lifestyle (except I don't like girls from Digimon, because...it is a long story. And I don't want remind that creepy human girl from Digimon Tamers....my worst nightmare in my entire life). Anyway it was fun watching FOX Kids on Saturday mornings, and those memories will never be forgotten.
lol I recall Kids WB and FOX Kids had both new episodes of Pokémon and Digimon on the exact same time slot of 10:00 A.M. I was switching through channels as a kid to keep up with both, lol. 😂😁🙂
Fox Kids should have gotten a 24/7 kids channel in the U.S., as they did with Latin America and Europe. That would have helped boost the brand more and collect more money if they especially were putting it on cable. Technically, that was Fox Family, but that was a rather different brand.
@@brianodonnell4496 That was programmed by 4Kids Entertainment, which later formed to 4Kids TV. But that would be the last kids' block to air on the Fox network as they ditched them altogether by the end of 2008, due to FCC regulations complying to enforce educational content for kids' programming, as required by the Children's Television ACT of 1990, which was enforced in 1996/1997.
@@NewBlueMario1016 Luckily, although the Fox network proper no longer airs children's programming, they still managed to "re-enter" the realm of children's programming in the form of online streaming. What I mean by this is that in April 2020, Fox acquired the free Tubi streaming service for $440 million. Prior to this acquisition, and to this very day, a couple shows previously seen on either FoxBox/4Kids TV, which include the various entries in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, Sonic X and Chaotic, have been made available to stream for free on Tubi. In addition to those FoxBox/4Kids TV veterans, Tubi also carries shows previously seen on KOL Secret Slumber Party/KEWLopolis/Cookie Jar TV, such as Sabrina: The Animated Series, The Doodlebops, and Horseland, as well as shows previously seen on Qubo, such as Babar, Jane and the Dragon, Willa's Wild Life, Pearlie, My Friend Rabbit, and Shelldon, just to name a few. Furthermore, former Jetix show Pucca has also been made available to stream for free on Tubi.
@@RiveraMichael4567 My good guess is that, they got all the money to acquire the licenses from those different companies to put them up on Tubi TV. Plus, even Donkey Kong Country is on there, which is a Nelvana-produced series, and licensed by Nintendo. Japan really loved the series, though. It got tons of merchandise based off the show there.
Fox Kids did not fail. It served it's purpose for the time that it was hot. I was a kid in the early 90s, so I got to see it's full potential (i.e. Bobby's World, every Transformers Series, Batman, VR Troopers, X-Men, Spiderman etc.) There was even a Fox Kids magazine Scholastic partnership that I remembered from elementary school. It had a good run, then the market shifted. Happens in every industry, but it was not a failure.
@Medora: One thing that Fox Kids in the US could have done in order to stay in float would have been to launch the brand as a 24-hour channel instead of a programming block, just like how the Fox Kids brand used outside the US. This would have allowed Fox Kids in the US to not only both affect Fox's main programming as well as having lots of time space to facilitate both E/I and non-E/I shows respectively, but also maintain its ratings.
@@medora2499 I noticed that in all your history videos, there is Latino or African music playing in the background. Can you give me a link to some of these songs?
@King Andrias They weren't the only ones who ruined it. Pokemon's success (the seasons produced by 4Kids anyways) and the popularity of Kids WB pretty much sapped the ratings away from the block, causing Fox to pull the plug for, surprise surprise, more 4Kids anime.
The fox kids block came back in Finland only for a while in 2015 then got discontinued probably when fox Finland became star channel (the Finnish version , not the Chinese or Indian version of Star Channel.)
I was born in 1989, but I grew up watching The Fox Kids Network in the 1990's. My 1st Children Action show was the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 1993 it's Morphin time.
When Fox kids launched I didn't have the channel I was a member of the Fox Kids club so that was something when Fox Kids timeshared with the original Sky 2 I could access Fox Kids teletext service(I did have Sky2)
Umm Medora the show Norrin Radd aka Silver Surfer somehow got transferred to Disney Plus under the Marvel Superheroes brand and aside from this Fox Family Domestic became ABC Family Domestic later succeeded by Freeform while the Fox Family Worldwide got succeeded by ABC Family Worldwide what do you think?
My whole life I think of this always wondered what happened now at almost 3am I finally decided to Google it and brought so much closure I remember they premiered “one piece” I grew obsessed with it and all sudden I never saw it again
@@medora2499 your good dude, my brother and i grew up on 90s Nick, but you grew doing the last breath of saturday kids shows, that kids born after didn't get a chance to see that, so your good.
I watched Fox Kids on those BIG azz satellites. And later on KTLA and WPIX. I miss it. UPN Kids was also amazing. And I never got Kids WB :'( I did hold out till about 2002 with cartoons and kids TV.
the more i see info about Fox Kids America the more I get it was way more popular in Europe. In The Netherlands they opened the FoxKids stock exchange and it was on 7 days a week for 12 hours a day on the open network so everyone could see it. they also has a popular monthly magazine and it ran until mid-2005 so Foxkids might have been the most popular in The Netherlands it was the last country to still have it. Then it changed into Jetix and after a few years the overall quality went down and by the time DisneyXD came almost nothing was left of it.
Here’s my answer of your question: No, I don’t know about the Fox Kids Block, ever since I was born in 2002, nor I haven’t watched JETIX, or 4KidsTV or FoxBox. But, I feel bad for Fox Kids, because it did had a good run, But the FOX affiliates should’ve done children’s programming in the daytime. That wasn’t a good idea, because, imagine what would happened if they got into an argument with the Block. And I didn’t know that Fox Kids was king of kids tv, and was overtaken by ABC’s One Saturday Morning, And Kids WB.
Would you be able to upload some of your tapes to www.Archive.org? Whole world in there with original recordings with commercials. This is a great history, by the way.
@@VHS_Fan I would like to at some point. I was thinking of making a website and including those tapes on it, and perhaps I'll get them on the archive too.
@@medora2499 Awesome. Lookin forward to it. Also, nice job adding the "Que Bello" song to the video. Adds a nice touch seeing as that was what my parents were listening to as I grew up.
It was the FCC and ei that took em out . Money man , 4 kids TV was great. I remember watching shows like TMNT , one piece and probably a few others I can't remember rn first on Fox n then they'd get sold to CN or Disney
I’d never watched FoxKids🦊 before in my childhood but I was born on the 15 April 2012. So……… that’s why I never watched it and I’m 11 years old right now and I watched TreehouseTV, Disney JR, PBS Kids, TVO Kids, and Knowledge Kids but I didn’t watch PBS Kids and Knowledge Kids when was 5 or 7 years old in my life, but though that I’m moving away from Television now and more towards my phone but because of my school, vacation, my Sunday routines, and my dog’s walks are making my channel in more pressure for the schedule of my days harder but I got 14 subscribers now and I’m at a hiatus now. It would be so boring"
All i can perceive by this is that people love life, but hate "adulthood" or our actual social model of "make a living" etc In the end, it all revolves around alienated work reproduction.

4Kids was better for Pokemon and Saban was better for Digimon.
lol I recall Kids WB and FOX Kids had both new episodes of Pokémon and Digimon on the exact same time slot of 10:00 A.M. I was switching through channels as a kid to keep up with both, lol. 😂😁🙂
I was born in 84 so I remember Fox kids like it was yesterday I remember when the first debut
Fox Kids should have gotten a 24/7 kids channel in the U.S., as they did with Latin America and Europe. That would have helped boost the brand more and collect more money if they especially were putting it on cable. Technically, that was Fox Family, but that was a rather different brand.
What about the Fox Box?
Fox kids was usually my pick for Saturday mornings between 97 and 2003
Should that be the Fox Box?
Fox Kids did not fail. It served it's purpose for the time that it was hot. I was a kid in the early 90s, so I got to see it's full potential (i.e. Bobby's World, every Transformers Series, Batman, VR Troopers, X-Men, Spiderman etc.) There was even a Fox Kids magazine Scholastic partnership that I remembered from elementary school. It had a good run, then the market shifted. Happens in every industry, but it was not a failure.
I remember fox kids, but my brother and i were Nick Kids back in the 90s.
Fox Kids lasted from 1990 to 2002. I hope that Fox Kids come back.
it did in finland
14 years In the USA
The FCC wants all the Saturday morning shows to be educational so that’s not gonna happen
I think Fox dows not exist anymore as a network, now is "Star" or something... so in the best case scenario it would be "Star Kids"
I WANT IT BACK!!!!
Great idea!
