greatest sporting comeback of all time , not because of this one particular game but because it was the last of a multitude of amazing come backs that had to happen in that season for united to win the treble.
As a United fan I was extremely happy they won. As a football fan I felt sorry for Bayern. United were missing Keane and Scholes in the midfield and they were two really key players. It was obvious Bayern played really well and controlled the midfield during virtually the whole of the game. Had Bayern won I would have been disappointed but not resentful. Bayern played well and created chances for themselves. Their focus was 100% for the whole game. Both team, from my recollection, played well, played hard but were not looking for cheap shots, time wasting or dirty play. Had Bayern won it would not have been 'unfair'. It would just have been the best team on the park on the night. Those goals they conceded, they weren't stoppable really. They were two touch goals and came from perpetual pressure. A great team that played fair and well. Credit to them and their supporters. The fates were not with them that night. I'm glad that was the case but they didn't lose the game: United won. There's a huge difference. Kudos to Bayern.

I'm a Galatasaray fan and we had played Man United before, we actually managed to get a draw at Old Trafford back in 93 (they hadn't been beaten for 40 YEARS at home, no other team in the world has ever managed such a thing) and pushed them out of the Champions League. Everyone in Istanbul talked about it for months, schools, cafes, regular bus stop conversations, everywhere you could hear people talking nothing but that game. We had really done something incredible in those days, and I think a year later this time we were in the group stage and we got Man United again, we were all feeling so lively and enthusiastic, we were gonna play with them again, the biggest club in the world, the team with Schmeichel... Everyone was waiting for the games, so much that the attention almost surpassed a regular the fenerbahçe game, which was weird, and I remember all that so vividly, how my father used to tell me about the Premier League and the strength of Man United, their history, Alex Ferguson, all that. This time football was great only that the jeassy were too big i hope there was no tape measure and the tailer who would make them small
And Solskajaer has won it.
Some moments will live forever...
Uefa champions league is the best competition ever
To this day, I have no idea why David May was at the top during the trophy presentation haha
What a fantastic player Ole was. Rapier like eye for goal-the baby-faced assassin!
Who is watching 2024
Munich fans experiencing nostalgia ;)
In this match football was cruel to Bayern. This UCL final is the best of all time beating the 2005 and 2014 Finals
The best five words in any football commentary ever - "and Solskjaer has won it".
UNBELIEVABLE! Will never forget this night as a young kid and I’m a Tottenham fan 😂
Brilliant commentary by Clive Tyldesley on this: "Name on the trophy" - there was only one winner once Sheringham equalised.
I will never tire of this ❤️🔥👹❤️😁
25 years ago today 😢
At 1:0, they took off Lothar Mattheus, I sat up and actually thought we might have a chance in Fergie time to get a draw. The first goal confirmed my hopes, but a second was crazy!
