*I loved this movie! Here is my fan theory about the film "qua".*
I believe It's about a woman who's daughter died at a young age and left her alone, but the memory of her daughter still haunts her. The evidence that supports this is the opening scene. Which has music similar to a lullaby, and shows the mother crying in the bathroom where her daughter drowned in the bathtub. Afterwhich, the film portrays the mother running through the forest of trees with the number 3. Which I presume is the age her daughter was when she died. The mothers feels so much guilt for her death that it becomes manifest. She sees herself as the murderer of her child. Or the "qua"- which means capacity of being. That is why she say's "It's me!' at the end of the film.
    lol jk I'm bored asf.

If you really want to show off your artiness for the one lady who showed up, you have to site people like Jean-Luc Goddard or Federico Fellini, or Ingmar Bergman. I'm speaking as a film student currently so I know this phenomena better than most. Also, Madonna sited every single name I mentioned when promoting her directorial debut "Filth and Wisdom". I've had films in 100+ festivals and yup... this is 100% spot on, LOL. Clearly, whoever made this completely gets it. The stacked audience with 'only' filmmakers and friend... accurate in big cities where people don't care about coming out to festivals. The passing the mic and waiting (make sure you stand in the middle so you have time to think if you're in a Q&A though!). And the pretentious answers where the filmmakers care more than the audience, absolutely, haha. The first questions, in order, are always; 1 - What inspired you to make the film? 2 - What was your budget? Then it's one of these; What camera did you shoot on? How long did you shoot for? How big was your crew?
There ARE occasionally festivals in mid-size towns like Napa where you get a lot of people off the street and it's so much better.
That part at the end is hilarious where you're asked about your current project and it's always "nothing" but people get super creative with making-up something that sounds important.

Yo, this reminds me of a time I showed up for this real estate recruitment type event that provided information for individuals looking to get started in real estate. Turns out, I was the only one who showed up. Lol, so the entire presentation was for me alone, and I felt the pressure of having to ask questions when really I had none. This was pretty relatable!

Had a similar experience. Ages ago we went to an improv in Hollywood and there was me my friend and girlfriend and we were the entire audience. Comedy doesn't work as well that way. We literally had the first comedian sit at our table to do his bit. Unfortunately 3 comedians in we got tired of them asking what each of us did for a living. We started to walk out on the next commedian and she begged us to stay.
