Playing songs meant for the 8580 on the 6581 SID can either sound really good or really wacky, no in between
Am I geek for making the TRAP gladiator demo drum beats during the intro of this song?
That's a really great track
What happened with Chipsynth? Anyway it sounds cool
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Holy crap, this reminds me of Jammer.
Pizza tower entrance theme be like:
Filter moment.
If this is a 50/60Hz track I'll eat my... something with less microplastics in it than my hat
prg displays a graphic so the VIC-II stays active but otherwise the CPU is free to do whatever, I'd have to actually disassemble it, I'm too lazy
It's a 300Hz tune.
@@AntoineTelgruc2 thanks! no headwear consumed
@@AntoineTelgruc2 What does this mean?
@@NuntiusLegis Musics on old computers usually run syncronized to screen refresh, for example, a normal tune uses a 50Hz refresh rate (on PAL systems, NTSC systems run at 60Hz due to different screen refresh speeds), it means that the soundchip is getting its registers updated fifty times per second, but this particular tune is running 6 updates per frame instead of one, so we get a 300Hz speed.
