Abram did not worry about being too generous to someone else. How powerful. Father, i pray to you to yield my rights, in the right time, for the glory of God and the furtherance of the gospel.
We need more such exposition on New testament and also on the false teachings on holy spirit and revelation kindly do an in-depth study on the need of the hour with so much heresy false doctrines and charismatic Chaos 😂 ❤
I have a question about the land? Israel got the land through Joshua but according to Hebrew 11 they never got this land. That it was a city build by God...
God promised to give the land to the Jews, and promised that He would be with them, but they still needed to drive the people out of the land, which they never fully did. I hope that this helps.
Another strike against certain tenants of Calvinism. God welcomes us back after we stray. He asks us to return (shuv). Why would he bother if the saved are chosen from the beginning?
The promises were given to Abraham and to the son that God would miraculously give to him and Sarah, which was Isaac. A deeper look into Genesis 17 will reveal that God renewed His promise to Abraham after Israel had already been born. God did promise to bless and prosper Ishmael, but it was the Isaac that God's people would inherit the land of Israel. enduringword.com/bible-commentary/genesis-17/
@@DavidGuzikEnduringWord Where did God said that the covenant ONLY for Isaac??? It's only writen "to Abraham and his descendants". Only the commentary, someone interpretation that suggest it's for Isaac.
@@Imaddongai Genesis 17 explains this. 17 Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, “Shall a child be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?” 18 And Abraham said to God, “Oh, that Ishmael might live before You!” 19 Then God said: “No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him. 20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall beget twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. 21 But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time next year.” 22 Then He finished talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.
@@DavidGuzikEnduringWord Let us refer to the prophecy in which God promised to give all the lands between the river Nile in Egypt to the river Euphrates to Abrahams’ descendants (Gen. 15:18). Let us enlist the countries hemmed in between these two rivers and find out which belong to Ishmael and Isaac respectively: Egypt (Ishmael), Sinai (Ishmael), Saudi Arabia (Ishmael), Jordan (Ishmael), Syria (Ishmael), Lebanon (Ishmael), Palestine (Ishmael), Yemen (Ishmael), Bahrain (Ishmael), Oman (Ishmael), Qatar (Ishmael), Israel (Isaac).
In Genesis 15:19, God gives land to Abram and yet this land belongs to other peoples and national groups . What does God to this. Could someone explain.
