I didn't even know it was in the bible. I actually thought it was a southern baptist " thing"😂 GOD bless you & your family & your ministry
Great study as always. 👍

This is great
I am learning the Bible for really the first time in my life, I’m finding your videos on genesis incredibly helpful! I’m studying every day. I have a wondering Id like to ask- I’m sincere and hope it doesn’t come across as rude, as that is not my intent- I truly want to understand! If the Jewish are Gods chosen people… and we must believe is Jesus to go to heaven, yet (my understanding) most Jews do not believe in Jesus as our savior, does this mean that most of God’s chosen people won’t go to heaven? I’d like to understand more about the relationship between Christians and Jews.
Hi there! Great question!
I'd like to direct you to Romans chapter 9 and the Enduring Word commentary on that section. Rather than writing out a short answer, the commentary can offer you a longer but more complete answer.
I hope this helps! Blessings!

Galatians 3:6-9
[6]Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
[7]Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
[8]And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
[9]So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
Galatians 3:16
[16]Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Galatians 3:26-29
[26]For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
[27]For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
[28]There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
[29]And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Christian's, whether jew or gentile outwardly are The Israel of God, a true jew, one who has that Circumcision Made without hands upon Hearing The Gospel of their Salvation, The Word of God which is quick, Powerful, sharper than any twoedged sword
The Circumcision of the heart makes one a true jew, God's Chosen people, The Elect of God
Colossians 2:10-12
[10]And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
[11]In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
[12]Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
Romans 2:28-29
[28]For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
[29]But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Philippians 3:1-3
[1]Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
[2]Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
[3]For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
My friend who was adopted by Jewish parents told her that Christians hated Jews.
At the time was Haran not part of Mesopotamia also?
My translation of this passage does not include Pharaoh saying'i might have taken her for my wife" but constrastingly only attributes it to Abimelech. I believe this is sometimes added because translators are uncomfortable with how Abram sex-traffics his wife.I do not see there is any evidence that Pharaoh did not have sex with Sarai. She was after all only added to the household because of her physical beauty and no plague was sent to Abimelech unlike Pharaoh.
What translation do you use?
You seem to always gave a considerable amount of mouth noise. Often also kind of belching when you speak. It's moderately noticeable but with earbuds super distracting . Maybe don't habe lunch before recording?
