The English is actually discernable in songs like this. 'Cause let's be honest - not many people outside of Japan know Japanese. And terrible-sounding Vocaloid English is not something many people are willing to listen to.
Beyond that, it sounds like the music that's popular over in the West, and that's a big plus. Even if one were to translate the Japanese songs to English, they probably wouldn't get as popular as Vocaloid songs like this one just based on the way they sound.
At least, that's my assumption. I spend very little time in the Vocaloid community, so I can't really be the one to judge.

Izayah Emerald Because it sounds like almost everything that's on the radio these days. Although I am not one for that type of music, I do see this as a good thing because of what it means for Vocaloid potentially going mainstream in America and once that happens, the world will follow.
QueenofSilence101 yeah absolutely. When done well a vocaloid sounds like good autotune which is pretty in right now. The horrible engrish and squeaky vocals that is (over)done in the vocaloid scene is not likely to attract a mainstream following.

Her singing is so clear that I didnt have to read the lyrics to understand what she was saying except maybe 1 or 2 small parts.
