The song is about the north Atlantic slave trade , also his struggle with Atlantic records and also his own story /mythology of the long chains ....so he's talking about 3 things whole song is basically a double/triple entendre . Event the title wav/wave files , I enjoyed your take and I never actually fully realized the reverb until you mentioned it

The song is about slaves who jump off of the ships rather than making the trip to America , they now live under the waves eternally as the "longchains " they spent their time sinking other slave ships . ...that's the basic premise it's obvsly a deeper song but there's the basics . I didn't watch the whole reaction yet so maybe you figured it out. ....I'm always on the hunt for lupe reactions this is a good one 👍
