  • EVERYONE AND THEIR BROTHER HAS BEGAN FIELDWORK.In today's episode of Andy's life, we follow along as the team continues to push through corn acres, while waiting for soybean acres to dry up. Andy runs a lot of seed around, and he does his best to do the work of two people. Andy also gets to plant some more beans, and he shows you how he stays entertained in the tractor. Enjoy the show.
Andy is a 6th generation farmer from Central Illinois. On this farm, Andy works alongside his father, Marty, his uncles, Chris and Jeff, and his sister, Katie, to grow corn and soybeans on some of the finest dirt in the world. Andy and his family are deeply rooted in the area, operating a large farm that traces it origins back into the 1800s. Although some tracts did not stand the test of time, Andy and his family still grow corn and soybeans on fields that have been in the family for longer than even the oldest members of the farm have been alive. We do, we have, and we always will take tremendous pride in calling this piece of paradise our home. Andy was a Bronze Tablet graduate of the University of Illinois in the field of Crop Sciences, following the same path as his father and late grandfather.
It would be misleading for Andy to claim that this life is one that came by chance; rather, as a member of two multi-generational farm families, it was simply in his blood. His passion for agriculture traces back to his early youth--some of fondest, earliest memories being of days spent riding in the combine with his father and grandfather. Although his understanding of the lifestyle was much less complex in the beginning, the love he has for farming, and its industry has only appreciated through time. As this dream blossomed into adulthood, Andy now works relentlessly, and tirelessly, to chase his own dreams and to build a farming operation of his own alongside his family.
We, as a whole operation, are handymen, electricians, mechanics, landscapers, accountants, economists, caretakers, stewards, and, most importantly, farmers, and we take an incredible amount of pride in our work. There is no challenge too overwhelming, no situation too stressful, and no problem too difficult for us to take on, and we want to take you along with us. Welcome to our farm and welcome to our lives. You have the best seat in the house to watch the everyday chaos of farming unfold--we usually only get concerned when things aren't going wrong!

I was born and raised on a dairy farm in Virginia and milked 140 cows 24/7 in the late 70's thru 80's / We had a double 8 haring bone milking operation along with two 25x80 Harvestore silos for haylage - one 20x80 Harvestor silo for high moisture corn - two 20x60 concrete silos and one trench silo that was 30 wide x140 deep / We had 200 acres of alfalfa (to chop to fill that 25X80 Harvestor), 200 acres of mixed hay, 100 acres of wheat (needed cash flow crop), 400 acres of chopped barley, chopped rye, chopped oats (to chop to fill the 25x80 Harvestor) and then double cropped corn / We planted 800 acres of tilled and no tilled double cropped corn with a JD 4020 and JD 7100 8-30 corn planter / No marker arms on the JD corn planter, No GPS on the tractor & no drones! / 100 pound of milk was selling for $13 to $14 / Corn was selling for $2.25 bushel / I loved the life on the farm but our bottom line was we could never make enough money to pay for everything / Every April 20th I miss being on that JD 4020 planting corn! / Could you help explain to others the cost of that JD tractor and JD planter that is in your video / Could you explain how mush fertilize you are using and chemicals / Can you tell us what you are getting paid per bushel for your corn ans soy beans this coming week / Could you explain the cost of fertilize and spray material / Thanks for the video, your doing a great job promoting your farm

I kept think "But its the drink of choice! 😆😂You have to drink Apple Cider because ITS THE BEST and Its non-alcoholic. Therefore it is perfect for work." 😁✌😷

Greetings Zach im Nick. I hope you dont think im crazy from what I want to share with you. My dad is always saying something he tells me to share with others so when the time comes we are all prepared for the end game.
Im reaching out to you regarding a notion that my dad talks about. What do you think if this Nation were to Neighbor up with eachother & dishonor all money and turned to love & kindness to pay it forward?
Im going to start reaching out to all farmers regarding this notion so we can all be ready from the wrong doers in control of this government who are threatening our freedoms & rigjts each day.
I hope & pray that you could share this notion with each & every farmer you know regarding, paying it forward with love and kindness insted of using money.
If this nation would turn to kindness to pay it forward, then all the simple essentials would become free! Like free food, free housing, free healthcare, free travel without borders & free from crime because money wouldn't be the root to all evil anymore! And much much more if we all were to neighbor up with eachother!
Well with that said i leave you with 💗 kindness & blessings for you and everyone around in good times and in bad times
