The Young Ones - Hank Marvin Instrumental Cover by Steve Reynolds

A classic track reworked for the 1995 album "Hank plays Cliff" originally a 1962 hit for Cliff Richard and The Shadows.
This arrangement is by Warren Bennett - (Brian's Bennet’s son.)
Recorded with my Squier Simon Neil Strat through a Zoom G3x and Vox Adio Air GT.

I love this happy song, beautifully covered by Steve.
But now on New Year's Day 2023 this makes me sad as it reminds me of Steve's passing.

Hi steve. That is sure some great cover. I enjoyed it. I wonder how you get the shadows sound on the boss katana. Do you use tone studio and tweek the master eq setting to get that AC amp tone? Or just the global eq setting? What would you recommend to set up the amp for a clean Hank Marvin sound?

Thanks to be honest i just use the amp as is! I have the treble at 2/3, bass at 1/3 and the middle at 1/2 and that normally gets me pretty close

Hello steve...does the difference in string spacing between your Squier and your Fenders bother you much? Or have you modified the squier with a Fender spec string spacing bridge....thanks...
