I was just in Pagosa Springs Colorado for a week. Absolutely beautiful place, every vehicle was either a Lifted Ford, lifted Dodge, a Subaru, a Toyota or one of a plethora of Ford Raptors. It was awesome.
Beautiful video. I had to giggle a little with all the talk about the trail being so narrow, then you guys get up there and there's a Humvee already there. Those things are really wide. LOL

Just made me miss my old backyard. I lived there for 6 years. Imogene and black bear are two of my favorite trail rides in the area. There are actually several fairly unknown trails in the same area that are way more technical and fun IMO.
I have been going to Telluride every winter and a lot of summers for 20 years, Im so happy you got to experience and see it its my most favorite place on earth
So glad you got to come out and experience part of Colorado. You oughtta make your way down to Denver next time! We do have the highest elevation drag strip in the world. Colorado honestly has a great, very diverse car culture.
15:50 after nearly 11k on my TRX the only complaint I have is the brakes kinda suck. No real problems stopping the truck normally. But do anything adventurous and they sizzle. After a spirited drive once I could see smoke coming off the rotors after parking. Still, been offered 15k more than I paid for this beast even with the milage and I won't trade her for anything. Best vehicle I've ever owned.
He's going to have to delete this video anyway since he drove through that stream, definitely getting a letter from the government about polluting the water

I've ran this trail 2 times in my truck and it's unreal !! Videos don't do it justice. Second highest pass in Colorado at 13,114 feet off-road but I've been to 13,900 feet near Fairplay Co.
To be fair, I would have used 4low as well in first gear once it got to the steep dropoff section. Tons of loose rocks and steep drop offs and if you're in 2wd, rear of the truck is more likely to fishtail on those rocks than in 4wd, especially with 700 horsepower...

When you're in CO next time take a trip up Pikes Peak outside of Colorado Springs. Nice ride and not nearly as sketchy as that. A little over 14k feet as well.
went to the peak in a rented FJ Cruiser lol it was so insanely sick & it was even sicker being able to remember all the turns from all my experience sim racing there in VR.

Cool video, that brought back a lot of memories growing up in Colorado. My father would take the family up roads like that in his Suburban. The puckering feeling is understandable, I used to feel that way all the time heading up into the mountains. I was feeling puckered just watching this video!

I was forced into going over some of the mountain passes in CO last week of June because of mudslides on my drive home to AZ. It was crazy being on a road like that at 13500 and having snow with a 2wd ram 1500

On those kinds of trails you dont wear a seatbelt in case you need to bail out the vehicle quickly. Common on off road trails like this one.
The driver of the jeep that rolled down that road in 2010 survived because he was thrown out of the vehicle

False. It's a roadway and he didn't go upstream or down. Crossing is fine.
He won't hear anything about the stream crossing. No other way to get through that trail. Trust me on this, I've been there a few times myself.
