People are saying that they can't see a difference but as a blonde, I can totally tell how much it improved your hair. So much more vibrant and shiny... I always love when my hairdresser does glazes on my hair. I never knew I could buy my own for so cheap! Thank you for sharing I'm buying that glaze right now!!

Thank you for talking about this product! I've used the John Frieda type ones before but this really improved the texture and look of my highlighted brunette hair. So much so that I got two individual compliments from people I see regularly, telling me how great my color looks! I bought a second tube. Love your videos, thanks for sharing your knowledge ❤️

you can never go wrong with a glaze! Personally I tend to like the cream based glazes because the color result is deeper compared to a liquid glaze.

I use, and love INOAR. I went from having super frizzy curls, to healthy looking soft straight hair. Keratin straightening products are illegal in Canada, so it does make me nervous about using them. However, after my second treatment in Costa Rica (didn't notice much change after 1st treatment), I became addicted and now buy online to do at home.

    • @carolinec6595

Formaldehyde is released from most of those keratin hair-smoothing products which is a known carcinogen, and hence some of those products are banned in Canada (such as the Brazilian Blowout brand)

    • @courtneylaughman2387

Namicatt a glaze and gloss are the same thing. People call them either. They are a Demi or semi permanent treatment to add shine or tone to the hair

    • @stephaniemoore3779
      @stephaniemoore3779 4 роки тому +3

@@courtneylaughman2387 No, they are not. Google the difference. Glosses last longer than glazes.

    • @holycitygirl1163
      @holycitygirl1163 4 роки тому +27

No a gloss and glaze are different
If you read the ingredients the gloss has no activator , no ammonia , no peroxide. The Toning glaze has an activator to mix with the glaze , if you read the ingredients it contains peroxide. When your highlights grow out and you need a retouch you can freshen with the glaze and it will slightly lighten you natural hair and deposit color on the highlights ...therefore it will give the appearance of having had a retouch without getting highlights. And no it will not make it blonde, it will barely lift even a level, but it does cause it to brighten up a bit on the natural hairs because of the peroxide that is present in the activator. Now the gloss doesn’t have an activator or any ammonia or peroxide ...so when you use this it will not lift your natural hair color , but it will deposit color. Glaze is a demi-permanent and gloss is a semi-permanent. Demi last longer than semi. I wish they would explain that a little better on their website... Demi-permanent glaze last up to 15 shampoos depending on type of shampoo and quality of hair. Semi-permanent gloss last 6-8 shampoos. Quality and color of existing hair has to be taken into consideration, as well as shampoos you would be using at home. Both enhance shine and help boost faded color and or tone.
And ALL COLOR FADES...even permanent...it just last longer than the others
Hope this helps( this was the Madison Reed hair color I was referring to by the way ,,, each color line can have differences, good to do your research)

Of course, I dumped the second bottle inasmuch as I have no idea if I will like it or not. AND there is a $6 S&H fee, so basically you save $4 . I ordered one tube regardless just in case it's the holy grail. Just a bit of FYI:)

My hairdresser gave me some other product to do at home but it really dried out my hair. So I hope this one will do the trick. I just watched one of your videos on how to get a lot of volume in your hair. At the end, you mentioned that once your hair has cooled off and is still looking good after 15 min or so then it will stay that way UNLESS you are in a lot of humidity. Well, I live in an extremely humid area, and as summer approaches I need some advice on products to use when it's humid. My good friend sells Monat which I see you did a video about. Do you know if they have anything like what I'm talking about? Any advice would be great! I did a blow out a few days ago, and as soon as I stepped outside it went nuts from the humidity. Thanks!

I eventually just did what Sylvia said and I applied it to clean dry hair. I concentrated the product midway to ends tho. Smells great but don't think it's as "glazed" as it could be bc I was to conservative and probably didn't saturate it enough. Overall though it feels great and I'd purchase it again.

  • @territells_gaming

I need some hair advice from people here.
I roughly have a diamond shaped face, currently a brown-red haircolour. I've always liked to have my hairline to the side to have more hair on my right side. My hair is very thin, it does shine and it reaches to about my shoulderblades. It grows quickly but so do split ends just as quick. I am always struggling with getting it to sit well, this is partly because I know very little about styling with mouses sprays or blowdrying, I've avoided blowdrying for most of my life because hairdressers tell me that I should.
Currently I don't know whether to keep the sideswept look and if so what should I do to style it properly, the sidehair never stays where it's supposed to be, it always ends up hanging down and forming square and how to make the other side not look too flat,
    OR
if its time for a serious change and go for short bangs across my forehead. I have tried sideswept bangs but they weren't really what I wanted. I prefer my hair long and because it's so light it never really adds any weight to it. I've had layers in the length before and it just makes it look thinner.
To summarize, long hair, thin (however very shiny!), grows very quickly, but it has little volume.
Any tips and tricks on how to style the sideswept look better
and anyone suggestions for what haircut I should have if not sideswept.

Hi Silvia, How is this integrated with Monat? I thought Monat will make your hair shiny and that you don't need glaze and a hair treatment. Please clarify if I should continue getting hair treatment (Kerastase is used at the salon I go to that they spray on and leave for 7 minutes). Now that you did a video on hair glaze, is it safe to use at the same time as I am getting a hair treatment?
I really need clarification with this and how this works when using Monat.
My other question is how do I protect my hair when I like to go swimming a lot? I have colour treated hair, I do get hair treatment when I get my touch up. When going swimming, I can be in the water for a couple of hours or more in one visit. Will Monat help protect my hair or fix the dryness from being in the water all the time?

+Chris Harrison this would be an add on treatment. An extra step to shine. This has nothing to do with Monday however it doesn't interfere with min at either. I use Monday everyday, and this glaze once every/other month

Thank you Silvia for getting back to me. Perhaps you can do a video on how to care for you hair for the summer season...going swimming a lot.

In comparing Olaplex with the glaze............. Which would you use?

    • @brittniknight2691

Two very different products, so both in my opinion. Olaplex works to heal the hair when bleaching, while the glaze seals the cuticle and adds shine.

ok..I just ordered some and hope it helps with my lifeless hair.... can I ask you a question... I dyed my hair blonde, but had purple underneath....why are parts of my hair green and how do I get it out?

This happened to me not too long ago haha. I had purple "roots" and the rest of my hair was baby pink and peach. I had added a turquoise color to the purple to make it deeper. I used a color remover to try to fade out the colors and shampooed a lot but they only did so much. When I went in with another color remover with a light bleaching agent in it, the purple immediatley turned like muppet green. I had limited resources as this happened late at night so I did a soap cap over the green areas. By the end it was a pale mint green and a yellow blonde color. From there I knew I could lessen the effects of the green if I got rid of more of that bright yellow. After I toned it mixing a purple based ash toner and a neutral toner the green was gone. If you can, go to a salon to skip all the scary steps and what ifs, unlike me. Also, in the future if you use semi perm, Joico Eraser is really great at removing fashion colors.

I didn't remove all of the purple...the intent was to just lighten my roots and then reapply the purple to all my hair.. Unfortunately, I was called into work...panicked applied it everywhere..and wham....orangy roots....green pigment around the crown and them blonde the rest off the way... I was able to tone down the orange by using blue food coloring and a deep conditioner...but that green won't budge...and my hair is feeling super dry and stringy....

If you plan on keeping the purple, mix a new batch up of the purple and add some deep red to your mix. It'll help neutralize the green without making it too muddy. Use a more pinky based purple rather than a blue base purple.

Kate Bartlett places are generally harmless there's nothing in there that stress is the hair at all. I guess it depends on what your natural hair color is right now and whether you want the extra shine....
