When I first saw the butterscotch paint colour, I was screaming Nooooo in my head. But it looks awesome now. It compliments the leather coloured bench and the dining table in a very cozy way

I like how you use the ground as your work bench Andrea, often chippies frame and measure up their work on a bench but, you sit on the earth obviously cos thats all you need. Its cool that you do that, natural and simple :)

Gorgeous! I wasn't keen on that strong yellow when you first painted it but once everything was in place, it really does lift & brighten the space. PS, Love that slimline table!
I had that yellow with a blood red accent wall in my former bedroom. I really liked it. Recently, I swapped bedrooms and repainted these walls with Simply White. It's going to be a yoga, ballet, art studio room.

Such a pretty yellow! At first, it looked too mustard-y, but on the wall, it looked great. The benches and new table with chairs provides more seating, and the room does seem bigger. This project has been so satisfying to watch! Making my house look a bit sad . . .
I was never a fan of built in banquets until I saw this! Wow jaw dropping transformation! I love the seating details especially the hanging back rest. The wall details and the paint is also a killer! I loved it it so much

Great job! I used a mattress topper to add comfort to my dining room chairs many years ago! It has held up really well.

Finished the first top coat on my own DIY project and saw DIY Wife posted. Dean and Andrea seem like the perfect way to occupy 30 min of dry time.
