Consider wearing some chunky boots, or instead of skinny jeans try tucking it in skirts/shorts. I’m pretty short as well, so I resort to wearing it as a dress or with baggy low cut chinos.

Just remember while following fashion trends try not to support fast fashion companies if you can afford it. Try to make your clothes last. Buy trendy clothes but also make them last longer than one or two seasons. Buy trendy clothes that you can see yourself wearing for years and if they go out of style save them until it comes back in style because things always do.
It is good to hear that bright colors are in the trends now. I like these bright colors, but afraid of wearing them, as in Europe, women tend to wear pale colors of clothes, especially in Finland, when I walk into clothes shops, all I see are grey tone clothes. I have several bright orange t-shirts and dress. The orange and white fit together beautifully.

Great video, Leonie. I love wearing the colour orange as long as it is the right shade for my complexion. Great for accessorising, too. Black and white looks striking together but I prefer black and cream or navy and cream. A bit more forgiving.

I bought a second hand white shirt but didn't realise it was oversized... However after checking out Pinterest, I realise it'll work well with my high-waisted mini skirt or skinny pants. I'm 5ft2 and it still works! I watched a video by Dearly Bethany who talked about how shorties can still rock oversized clothes, you can create balance by wearing fitted bottoms, carrying smaller bags. Excited to try something new that happens to be in-trend now.
Thank goodness I’ve kept nearly all my good clothes as I’ve got nearly everything that is on trend. Big shirts, orange dresses and tops and many things in black and white.
