It's nuts, Tyranids/GS Cult are having a good time O o. Excellent tank, the most dangerous psyker, excellent summoners across the board. A full hive team would be pretty scary in many scenarios except Guild Raids, like you keep squashing bugs but it keeps poping xD
If not synapse, i was really hoping it's passive would suppress with melee hits (plus the summon), just for better Neurothrope compatibility; but it is what it is
I need to point out that the 1734 armor is including the armor item it's wearing. Minus that, it would have a base armor of 17, which is a classic backline armor stat. In fact, it has almost exactly the same stats as Neurothrope, for a point of comparison.
Draupnir, there was _no_ change to allow dead swarm members to be revived by healing. There was only a change that allows all Repair effects to revive scarab members.
Please Draup plea to Snowprint to give Parasite its Synapse 😭. Prime is too frail and Neuro is too slow. Rely on Tyranid Warrior for sturdy Synapse is not fun.
Those Rippers are so annoyingly tanky, 6k HP 1.5k ARMOR and they're still a swarm so they cleanse any leftover damage every 20% HP These dudes are tankier than characters, they don't hit for shit, but they're a pain to get rid of
It aounds like you are describing the active as affecting everything touching the parasite and everything touching the target. Perhaps im the only one who interpreted you that way, but the text description seems pretty clear that the requirement is "touching both the target and the PoM". In other words, the PoM active is a max of three, (target+up to 2 others), same as Guard taunt.
The Genestealer enemies have mechanics revolving around beacons, which aren't targetable with attacks but are destroyed when stepped on or caught in splash damage. The active can help remove those so the Recon revive and other things with the beacons aren't as strong.
With it saying it pushes an enemy and anything touching them AND you, doesn’t that mean the max is 3? One and one on either side of it? I’m new to the game, so I may be misunderstanding that.
honestly this boy sounds worth it just off the fun of constantly summoning ripper swarms
You know someone's a true Nid fan, when they consider their bugs to be cute

As a nid player, I'm loving it! PoM is a great addition and thr GSC units also work well with nids. 2 great and fun factions to play.
Biophagus should also buff tyranids damage.
Tau MoW and Parasite of Mortrex ? Are we blessed today xdd
yes! finally we can get tiny ripper swarm supremacy
Must pet them all!

Nice job on calling it! As a Tyranid fan, I was hoping this guy would show up! It was a really cool option for them to go with.
Honestly though, I'm kinda disappointed by the fact that it doesn't summon barbagaunts
I thought you said the ripper swarm was summoned in the unit's head, but then I read the card as hex. I was briefly terrified.

It's lvl 1 item though
@ Level 1 hybrid armor piece grants 105 armor.

the last 2 epic BP(asmodai, titus) were a bit... hope parasite does better
Parasite can summon the most annoying summon to kill. He should be really good for pvp.
Thanks for the video! Actually I didn't understand this part of the active ability: enemy stepables on affected hexes are destroyed

Now we just need a tyranid campaign and we should be allowed to use the genestealer group with the tyranids
I really wish they gave him synapses
It should have synapse

Does anyone have a prediction of how strong the tyranids will be in faction tournament arena?
Yo man!
awww a shame it's epic
Thanks for the sneak peek!
He is not cute at all btw, I think you've been brainwashed by a genestealer cult!
