LET IT BE
Thank you for letting me be a part of something wonderful!
From Martha
+doddleoddle Your were so fucking brilliant, oh my god.
you are such a naturally talented actress
+doddleoddle You did a brilliant job! From another Martha :)
you were amazing!!
YOU WERE AMAZING
I think the dog and Jack Howard did some outstanding acting
agreed
+Meher Dev I thought you meant dodie for a split second! Was going to say how rude! :')
I agree. They should get an Oscar 😅
+Sian Isabella HAHAHAHAH
Yep b the film in my opinion.
I love that Dodie isn't playing the happy and cheerful character that she always does.
exactly, i feel like that really limited her acting tbh. she has so much potential, not just one type of character
Antonia Hendriks I remember she said she liked playing a character with more depth.
Antonia Hendriks has she been in any other films
Antonia Hendriks has she been in any other films
The foreshadowing is insane. “Martha My Dear” by the Beatles is about Paul’s dog. Death was going to shoot the dog in the beginning. Martha dressed as a dog. Martha was dying the whole time. 🤯
And the dog was named Ringo
@TaxiCab it's in the white album so on the late side, 1968
Ok, I admit it. I cried...
ECHO
+Echo Gillette ECHO OMFG
Echo omg yay 😊🍍
oh hey!
Oh my gosh, never expected to see you here!
I've stumbled across a part of UA-cam that genuinely has emotion. Wow

savannah looks stunningly beautiful in this. like more than always.
she is a beauty :-)

+Ali Williams Yesss
+Ali Williams WHOOOVIANN
she's my lady crush
I feel like death was playing operation because she's tired of killing so she tried saving someone for once.
And then she stopped when she pulled the heart piece out.
Strange - at the same time the others were having relationship problems in the other room
natalie savage this is a wild theory and probably doesn’t have any evidence but could it be like, cancer attacking different parts of the body?
Wolfania i took it as a visual representation of how martha was feeling like he was ripping her apart and the buzzer was going off because it wasn’t gentle, it was abrupt and painful.
Love these interpretations! Bertie described it as playing with the heart when they're talking about the breakup and the brain when hes saying how calculated she is. The buzzer representing the pain and discomfort they both feel
damn Dodie can really act
Tru!
that's exactly what i thought! she's surpassed my expectations!!!!
+gray'sthoughts yeah she absolutely can!!
+gray'sthoughts yeah it's clear she has improved a lot! Also I feel this sort of multi-faceted, emotional character suits her a lot better
+gray'sthoughts Dodie was great! Savannah was good. Overall a good short.
*SPOILER WARNING*
I just realized that death playing operation might have been foreshadowing about Martha's cancer.
Mhm
+effervescent adolescent Mr Jack Howard can tell you about that! When editing, he timed every organ that Death removes in operation to relate to the part of the conversation we're hearing. Heart, voice box, brain etc
+Bertie Gilbert im going to be honest, i missed that the first time but going back that was fucking incredibly done
+Bertie Gilbert Wow that's even better damn. Jack is always so clever. Thanks for explaining!
+Bertie Gilbert JESUS JACK I NEVER NOTICED DAMN
I love how the Beatles era they prefer shows what they're looking for in life. He likes their more political and progressive music because he's looking for a direction, a purpose in his life. She likes the older, more cheerful era because she's just looking for happiness to fight the fact that she's dying. It's beautiful, really.
The fact that dodie's biggest fear is death makes this 10x sadder tbh
She said she did the head tapping habit when she's anxious about death. And then she said it was specifically around the word "cancer". That made me so sad.
And her facial expression when she was making a cheer to Death with carl literally broke my heart. You can see the role is more than just a skin to walk in to. She already lives in that skin.
This performance is amazing
I haven't listened to The Beatles either, but so far (11:22 mins in) my interpretation is:
Bertie and Dodie's characters' relationship is drawing parallels to The Beatles' discography. Dodie's character preferring the "Honeymoon stage" of her's and Bertie's relationship (when things were youthful, blissful and more innocent). Bertie's character prefers the more "adult" parts of a relationship; hence his admiration for the darker, more complex, later Beatles stuff.
Stream of consciousness up until the end:
To a foreigner of life (Savannah's Death character), to live or love is absolute torture. The human story is one of pain and misery. She sees "the _gift_ of life" as being more of a _curse._
Conversely, to natives of life (Bertie and Dodie's characters), humans rely on death to derive meaning from life. We need contrast; another plane of existence, or lack there of, to juxtapose our own. Life doesn't have value if it's in infinite supply.
I may be way off, but that was just my interpretation.
Loved the film 👏 👏 👏
^^^^^^
+LaytonChronicles lovely interpretation.
+LaytonChronicles Seems Legit.
can i have yr interpretation on the movie August Rush aswell?
Very smart :)

TheLivingNightmare 16 It started thundering at that exact moment.....
Ok, theory number two. Death doesn't really exist. Death is just the elephant in the room. It's the big question that they need to talk about. Martha is dying but Martha and Carl don't want to face it. They keep putting it off. In one scene Martha and carl fight about whether or not they want to keep death. This represents that Martha has already accepted she is going to die whilst carl is struggling harder then Martha to come to terms. The character of Death is just a tool to help them confront the questions they don't want to face. Death isn't apathetic but she doesn't understand how the world works, just in the way that death doesn't care what's going on in a persons life when they die. I could go on and on and on. Brilliant film Bertie!
👏👏👏👏👏👏 wow
Oh snapppp
That’s what I thought
That isn’t a theory that’s symbolism.
The Montreal Surprise Um, it’s definitely a theory. Using symbolism.
Ok, but who else is LIVING for Dodie's jacket?
I would DIE! for that jacket😉
@@ikramouchicha8610 same
I really want to like this but it has 666 likes :/
I think the symbolism in Dodie's dog costume is that she was mentioned to be "just some dog," which hints to Death killing Ringo because he was of less importance compared to Dodie. And the fact that she likes the Beatles earlier music because it was simpler tells us she was more child-like and simple minded, just like a dog. She dressed up like one because that's what Carl views her as, a joyful, happy creature who is just a shell. But she was dying, and the dog was gonna die, but they both seemed happy even though their deaths were near. Idk, just an idea.
First I wasn't sure if i agreed with you, but your two sentences really make sense. I think it's a very good interpretation and i love the fact that people start thinking about the movie in detail!
Evan Elias I'm pretty sure it's connected to the song martha my dear, song from the white album by the beatles, martha was paul mccartney's dog
Evan Elias
Wow
🦄
I figured she was the dog because the dog is "supposed" to die in the beginning and it was her all along instead.
but they both what?
also crying dodie is the most heart-wrenchingly sad thing in the entire world oh my
hahah literally "death" helped them come together. loved the film!
Nice!

I wish I had a broader mindset to see this film in all its perimeters. Because in my mind, in my eye's view, I only see the surface and I know there's truly more to the film and it's quite unfortunate.
reading the comments and watching over again helps
Tiana Vitry Thank you☺☺😳. Quite frankly, I was pretty proud of how I worded it too 😅 but thanks😁
It upsets me that Dodie might not know how freaking beautiful she is.
Ikr
I agree
I have such a crush on her omg
+Nice Gal yea me too
agreed
Well that was more emotional than I expected.....
Total Randomness That's Bertie for ya
In the scene that Martha is talking to death about the Beatles music she says "I honestly like to think they never broke up" did you put that line in there to talk about Martha and Carl's relationship? She says it so wistfully and it foreshadows the ending nicely. You can tell that Martha is the one that broke up with carl and it leaves you wondering why Martha still romanticizes the idea of being together with carl.
It's Rosie P ive broken up with someone but still have loved them. sometimes breaking up is something that is done for the better of the other person even if that’s not what they think at the time
It could have been so that when she died it wouldn't have hurt him nearly as much as if they were still together
Nah I don’t agree. She says she pretends they never broke up - this is just a sign of her ignoring death and trying to pretend. She tells him straight up she dumped him cos she didn’t feel the same way anymore.
watching this and then watching Dodie's video on her fear of dying really breaks your heart omg
ikr
+Carys McArthur Lewis yeah, she's a trooper
aw x
+Carys McArthur Lewis What video does she talk about it?
+IntrovertedReader it's called "I'm really scared of dying lol" and it's on her channel DoddleVloggle :)
I love that little scene with Jack. He's like "hey ur pretty be a model" and she's like "oh this is just my current form I can change my appearance whenever despite beauty standards." And Jack just goes "K"
I love Dan and Phil but I wish that this could have won the BONCAs, TATINOF was cool but this is more universally appealing and made me cry. Whatever though.
Better than you i was happy that they won since they deserve it after all work they've done, but this deserved it as well of course. I think it was very kind of dan to mention bertie. He has a very pure heart.
Sniper HD325
Aren't you just a ray of sunshine
Sniper HD325 no one deserves to die. Especially not two boys who have changed over 2 million people's lives.
Tweety Howlter how have they changed someone's lives
Sniper HD325 they make people happy. They have stopped people from being sad. They have saved people's lives. If you don't believe me, that's fine. But I speak from experience because I used to be suicidal, but they helped me.
Wait I kinda feel like this could be a metaphor but maybe not: she started out not knowing "death" (the girl).... but throughout the story she slowly gets closer to the girl aka gets closer to death. Idk just a thought
is the beatles a metaphor for there relationship?
yep
HM Music Their*
Caya Bennett sorry
shes living in the past he's living in the future and death is the now

Why is dodie so soft in this film like I need to protect my smol bean

fuck offTM OMG CAVETOWN IS YOUR PROFILE PICTURE ILY
fuck offTM ur name made me think "oh fuck off mitch"
The idea behind this film is a pretty beautiful one to play with. A lot about this works really well. Visually it's lovely and the acting really suits. But I do think everything from the fancy dress party onwards feels like a bit of rushed or... I don't know. Something feels underdone. The reveal that Martha is ill feels (to me) unearned as a viewer, like it's a bit premature. I feel like this is a part one of two or I've just watch snippets from a longer feature film. I don't know. I think perhaps this story needed far more than 17 minutes to be told. But anyway. I say this with great respect to you and to the work you've done. I always enjoy watching your films and I'm keen to see what you do next.
thanks for your feedback!! i absolutely can see what you mean. i think that's my weakest point. endings. i think i'm always compelled to reach some almost nonexistent balance between tying things up and leaving things open, which causes things to be a big rushed of a bit coincidental. i think the end is absolutely the weakest point. if the film were longer, i would've absolutely drawn it out more
+Bertie Gilbert Definitely mate. Endings are a bitch to write. I totally feel that. This is still top notch work though. Congrats!
i do love the ending with the dog
I understand how you might feel the reveal feels unearned, but if you are attentive you will notice that it was quite foreshadowed, yet not given away before that scene. You can also tell throughout that it is eating Death up inside to hide it and the abruptness of the reveal fit that quite nicely. This is just my opinion, but I felt that the only place where I saw room for improvement was the transition from the party scene to the ending scene.
Omg, I clicked for Dodie, but I didnt expect this to be emotional asf! I'm crying, I love this sm
Ji Ho Jung
Ikr. I was not expecting something emotional! 😭❤😢
MY HEART...
Ji Ho Jung omg same here
me too! five years after you! that is wild to me.
Martha being painted as a dog has a lot to do with symbolism which isn't the most obvious, but another thing I noticed was that the character Martha was perhaps named after Paul McCartney's sheepdog. There is also the song "Martha My Dear" on the White Album, which is some of the Beatles' later work.
Mac Rutherford she's named after one of the beatles dogs and her dog is named after one of the beatles
She's named after me haha
I thought the exact same thing
this probably isn’t true, but i also think that it maybe references the fact that the dog was going to be killed but wasn’t, and martha was planned to have died that day ?
i cried. i didnt see dodie as dodie or bertie as bertie. i saw them as the characters the were playing.
Pluto obviously I don't see sav as death lol
Pluto that’s called acting...?
Meg Hankins yes, it is
i have for 2 years stood by the fact that this is the best thing i have ever seen and i still do today
I don't trust the dog
+Clara Bampton Just standing there and waving his tail, totally unsuspicious.
😂😂😂
What if the dog was really deaths employer person, dog, person
OK THIS MAY BE TOTALLY WRONG BUT I REALLY FEEL LIKE THE DOG WAS A SORT OF GUARDIAN ANGEL FOR MARTHA BECAUSE THE DOG WAS THERE, TAKING THE PLACE OF HER DEATH IN THE FIRST FEW MINUTES AND THEN IT WAS BACK AT THE END AS IF KNOWING SHE GOT CLOSURE AND WAS READY TO LET HER GO I'M SOBBING
+Clara Bampton That's because it is Ringo.
no words can describe how much i loved this film
I love how Bertie can go from drawing the wank on a gingerbread house and going to shrek spectaculars to making such a fucking amazing film like this please tell me how the two and two correlate
waiT WHERE DID HE DO THAT omg
+emo hedgehog so on sav's channel is were he drew the word wank on gingerbread house and it's called "sav and berts holiday special" and then on Sammy Paul's channel there a video called "Bertie's big day out" where he took him to a shrek spectacular

i watched this because it got nominated for a bonca and now im really disappointed that it didn't win
This could win a fucking oscar.
This made me cry in that sort of way where you are unsure whether it’s happy or sad, but there is a feeling in your chest you can’t shake and it’s sort of lifting you up while it grounds you. This film was so so beautiful!
poor mitch, just trying to bond with people
I'm Mitch
I love Dan and Phil but this should've won the BONCAS 100%
Soo true.
What did d and p do to beat this?
i am everyone else tatinof film won

AND THEN HE SAYS "I HOPE RINGO DIES FIRST"
IS THAT KINDA SAYING HE HOPES THE DOG DIES BEFORE MARTHA LIKE THE ORIGINAL PLAN OF DEATH'S WAS
ok i'm in way too deep i need to stop with this overanalyzing
no but its true
He kinda specified that's what he meant after he said that..
OK BUT SAME
Everyone is talking about Dodie and Bertie's acting which is incredible but Savannah was also amazing
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A JACKET LIKE DODIE'S
Ali Le F the 90's
Ali Le F it's from Beyond Retro
Forever Confused you're a gem, thank you so much
The beatles song Martha was playing on the piano was Let it Be, the film is called Let it Be...
I've just made that connection after watching it the second time, and isn't Let it Be one of the later music or is it earlier?
later
+Jmt10 yeah it's one of their last songs, on their last album
you recognized the most popular song of the beatles in a film named after one of the most popular songs of the beatles.
Later.
+Georgia Williams last song before they broke up. when someone is a "late" version of themselves it's because they are dead. ooh. this probably isn't even a connection but it sounds clever
I wish this was a full length movie or a book, I want more.
Omg imagine a book
book
This is such a genuinely beautiful piece of art. It's like poetry in a film. Artistic, symbolistic. It's so wonderful to see dodie in it. Most films she's in she looks so happy but in this she's more naturally how she is. Pure art. 10/10

my favourite part is when carth (?) and martha were talking in the hallway while death was playing the surgery game, that's really strong symbolism right there. as they kept talking, death kept taking all the intestines out, and pressed on the sides so it buzzed (signifying the hurt). at the very end, right before martha says 'can we talk about it later?', she takes the heart out.
Savannah makes a great whimsical character I loved her
Sorry if this question is obvious, but at the end Death is hinting at the third Beatle's impending death, and Bertie is wondering if it is Ringo. Then Ringo the dog appears. Is that hinting that Death decided to spare Martha (Dodie) in exchange for the dog's life, like she was originally going to do in the beginning?
i like to think so, but at the same time, i think the films just wants to let it be, no matter who dies, it just happens?
I personally think it's probably just a little clever way to allude to the fact that it might be Ringo who she goes after next without explicitly saying so. I like to think that the Death in the film can do small, magical things like let Ringo out. (They were wondering who did, I assume it was Death who used her powers.) Also I personally thought that the dog appearing also doubled as a warning that the dog was still alive, and that Dodie still had to die.
I wish this had won the BONCAS, but honestly it deserves an Oscar
QuirkyQuin the boncas were a bit of a joke tbh.. most awards were a bit random
QuirkyQuin lmao that's immensely far fetched saying it deserves an oscar
robyn s sure, but where's the fun in short-fetched? Either way, this film is amazingly well done, I just meant to communicate that :)
I panicked but it wasn't at the Disco you do? hello!
quinintheclouds what did win?
This deserves so much more attention. This tragic and beautiful story just breaks and mends hearts at the same time. The acting was fantastic and the story line put me to tears. *This* is true art.
When he said "there, there" like at 1:50 sorta it made me burst out laughing because it's so relatable! 😂 I'm so bad at comforting people ahahah
So dodie dressing up as a dog is a symbol too...?????????? I need to stop overanalyzing
Paul McCartney's dog's name was Martha. The dog at the beginning was going to get killed and Martha (Dodie) was going to die. Always over analyze. It pays
I read in the comments a few months ago that it could be representing how at the start, Death was supposed to kill "Martha" but decided (and failed) to kill "Ringo" the dog instead? I'm not entirely sure, sorry.
That Nerd who found the Internet
yeah that's what I thought too
Last year in Enlish class, I read Johnny Got His Gun, and my teacher made us research every single alliteration and cultural reference. At the time, it was a lot of work, because I had homework for five other classes on a block schedule plus that class. But, now I'm glad for it, because it taught me to really analyze everything really well. And its great, because I can read a simple John Green novel and get so much more out of it than any of the other fangirls out there
i just wrote this really long comment about that actually xd
The concept of this film is absoutelyy beautiful. Best short film EVER. I mean it lol
"Oh, Fuck off Mitch" idk y i laughed during such a serious time but I did
This is a very in-depth analysis of the UA-cam film Let It Be, by Bertie Gilbert. If you haven't seen it already then I would DEFINITELY recommend it, as it is an incredible film, and this post will have A LOT of spoilers. I'm going to go into a bit of detail about what I think each part of the film is symbolic of. I'm probably not correct at all, but this is just how I interpret it.
The film
Martha died in the film- So if you've watched it, then you'll know that we only find out that Martha is dying, but we never actually see her die. I have a theory that she actually DID die, only that the film is seen through Carl's mind, and that he is unable to process this tragedy. We see it through metaphors and symbols, all representing a different part of the death.
Meeting Death- I believe that this is symbolic of Martha finding out that she has cancer, and how she knows that death is with her.
Talking to death in the bath- Perhaps Martha questioning why she has to die early.
When death tells Carl that Martha is dying- I feel as though this could be symbolic of Martha's death. How it's only just sunk in the fact that she's gone, and he can't get her back. It's announced so abruptly, that it could mean the death was very quick and unexpected, possibly before she was predicted to go. When he gets angry at Martha for not telling him I think that could be interpreted as one of the stages of grief.
When Carl says he hopes Ringo dies first- I like to interpret this as him saying that he hoped that the dog (named ringo) would die before Martha.
Liking their earlier/later stuff- A recurring theme in the film is that Martha likes the Beatles' earlier stuff, whereas Carl prefers their later music. This could be a metaphor for how Martha prefers to live in the past with her memories, and Carl looks more to the future. It could even be a reflection of the actress who plays Martha, Dodie Clark, as she has stated that she lives in the past quite a lot, and reflects on memories.
There were a few other ideas that I've had that I considered were way too impossible, so didn't include. I hope you've enjoyed this, and if you're one of the people from the comments section on the film, thank you for being so patient with me! I've been putting off doing this for such a long time, as I was scared I wasn't going to make sense. Hopefully you agree with some of my points, and if not then please do let me know your interpretation
Willow J_c amazing
I love your explanation, it both sums up my thoughts but also points out loads of other things i hadnt picked up on.
It's probably way too late now and you wont answer this, but what does the dog symbolise in the ending - is it that the dog is alive and therefore dodie/martha is dead, since the dog was going to be a sacrifice made by sav/Death in order to save dodie? Or maybe the dog is symbolic of dodie, and while the dog is alive she is too? Or something else entirely. I know the dog is linked to dodie, and also the line about Ringo dying first, but im not 100% sure what it means.
i dont necessarily believe this theory (martha is already dead) but the idea that death confronting carl about martha dying is it sinking in to him that she is dead was very interesting to read. its a nice analysis.
i think youre right about the metaphor about the beatles but perhaps it goes deeper. i perceived it as a metaphor for their relationship. martha prefers the beginning of their relationship; it being youthful, less complicated, happier. and carl liking the later aspects of the relationship. this also backs up the idea of why martha fell out of love with carl; why they broke up.
this was lovely to read(:
This is an amazing analysis/theory, but isn’t the very end of the film supposed to be Martha’s death? I interpreted Martha seeing Ringo outside as her going into the afterlife as we can assume Ringo had already died.
This is so detailed. Wow.
i think i have a crush on death.

Libby O'shea But it's mediocre acting, at best, unfortunately. The story is good :)
Jamie Keenan-deVargas i agree for the most part but dodies acting wasnt terrible
I always love the music in Bertie's shirt films. Like all the tom Rosenthal music.
I Also love the fact that every time I watch this, the more I see. Like how death was playing operation
And the whole 'shock to the system, comment from Bertie's character
Long story short:
Death is inevitable
let it be.

has no one noticed how this entire thing fits perfectly to the song? especially the 'and when the broken hearted people / living in the world agree / there will be an answer / let it be'
cool!!
Yeah. It was probably because of the Beatles metaphor all throughout.
Plus Ringo the dog and Martha aka Paul's dogs name.
I JUST FOUND OUT THREE MONTHS AFTER THIS CAME OUT THAT MARTHA WAS THE NAME OF PAUL MCCARTNEY'S DOG

You see, now I'm crying this isn't ok
i always seem to revisit this. not quite sure why, but something about this short film is so immensely beautiful
I do the same, I've been revisiting this film for years :) I just had a Beatles lecture for a semester in uni, so I gave another rewatch because I have a new appreciation for the details of the film :))
this is so fucking aesthetic.
that was very enjoyable and I like how surreal it is and could you make more like this please thank you
Did you just predict George Martin's death?
I’m back here in 2021 because like most of Gen Z I am regressing back to age 13 and I remembered adoring this film
Same 😂😂
I haven't even watched it yet and I know it's going to be amazing
+hayley radison I've watched it now, and it's so good
I love this. The emotion and the darkness of the entire story is so engaging. The acting is incredible, all 3 of you (4 including Jack) are so talented. This is by far my favourite short film on UA-cam, and it truly deserved the SITC award. A massive congratulations to all of you, you and this film is wonderful. I'd love to see something progress from this, because I love it so much.
Spoiler I guess but, I really adore the suttle hints you pick up on once you've watched the film more than once. Martha gets very shocked when she hears the name Death, and then she gets very sad when they toast to Death. She stays silent once Death says "you don't believe that", because she knows she is gonna die because she has cancer. There's so many hints and metaphors and the film as a whole ties together so perfectly. I love it.
+Beth Jefferies Fully aware I spelt subtle wrong, but we'll ignore that

Kam3man ohhhhhhhhh yeah sure
there is a Mitch at every party--drinking everyone else's beer at a BYOB, hitting on your girlfriend and/or boyfriend while you're in the bathroom line, plugging his own phone into the stereo and ruining the David Bowie dance party, butting in right after you find out your ex-girlfriend is dying (relevant: 13:33), and eating the nachos over the common nacho bowl so that his own crumbs fall onto everyone else's future chips, spreading his Mitchy Microbes® across the city with one vigorous munch.
if you pay close attention to the foreshadowing and context clues, you'll find that this film is actually all about Mitch--and you can tell by listening carefully that right after the cut to credits Death goes back to the party and kills Mitch, who says that his favorite Beatles song is "Creep."
in short, excellent film--will watch again 👍👍💃💃🙌🙌
Yay didn't know you would be here!
"Carl, did you leave the door open?"
And the dog stands there, with wide, trusting eyes. And suddenly there are these strange tracks in Death's make-up, as they look back at the pair behind them. Resigned, both of them stand there with wide, trusting eyes. And everything is just a little blurry, and they can taste salt. And Death chooses life, and aims their silent gun.
*cries* I didn't see dodie as Martha, I saw dodie as dodie and that broke my heart
+Meg T I HAD THE SAME REACTION OMG :(
I've watched this atleast like 15 times and it never fails to entertain me. I always take inspiration from Bertie's films for my own acting. Ughhhh I physically can't explain how good his work is!!!
I enjoyed this sooooo much. Great job all around.
This was really good. Indie, deep, dreamy atmosphere... It's scary, but less scary put it in that way. It's all dark, but somehow made me think how beautiful life is.
Can we just take a minute to appreciate the FREAKING amazing TOM ROSENTHAL MUSIC that they chose!!! YESSS!
Ciaran films everything doesn't he? Wow he is really underrated.
Honestly, yes. He should be appreciated much more than he is.
Madeleine Yi
He is a DP so he's in charge of the cinematography such as lenses, lighting, photography components, etc. A DP basically films the directors intentions and makes it beautiful. A lot of DPs don't get much recognition by audience members even in Hollywood but don't worry, he is very much appreciated! :)
I decided to write up a 3 page essay on my view on all of the metaphors in this film. I should probably stop procrastinating and carry on writing, because I've found so many.
Would you want to send it to me? I'd love to read it
Sorry about the late reply. As of yet I don't actually have any way of sharing it, but once I've finished the final draft I might see what I can do :)
Bryony The Overthinking Pigeon hello :) Nice to read that comment here. Would you be soooo kind and send me one as an e-mail? This would be so awesome!
I might be able to email it to some people at some point, but like I said it's not quite finished. I'll make a note to remind myself to check :)

'I like to think they never broke up' Me with MCR :'(
if only you listened to the Beatles... poor thing.
+Cerys Fletcher the 'twice' part was a mistake. and yes i did :)
+slappy pancake That's what I got from that, but I wasn't saying l disliked The Beatles I was just saying I was the same with My Chemical Romance :)
That's the problem with old classics, they're amazing but people get a superiority complex and think they're better because they listen to them.
mcr is back in action :)
