Pred here. Tunnel vision is a huge thing. do NOT. stay in one place for to long or do NOT fight for too long. It makes it too easy for 3rd parties to come get you. Know your time limit before you evacuate. It helped me a lot when I wasn’t max level.
I have just been not letting teamates and going does not getting any where but am understanding the game well when I first got one one guy ran straight into fights the other guy was always ahead and atacked full squads solo
oh yeah, like a solo rookie lounge up until level 15 or something then bump you up to a higher rank. i think they have ranked now though but i haven’t tested it yet. they have duos though, which would be cool with a mid level player
Another tip which I find to have been helpful to me is to play with people better than you (if you have the opportunity to). Not to carry you to a win or anything but it will help you learn to play like somebody better than you. Being able to mimic what a stronger player would do is really helpful.
A little late, but hopefully I can help. I was able to solo queue to Diamond most seasons so I've had a lot of practice with ranked. Once you get some experience with the game, you'll probably know what all the legends do, how the maps are laid out, decent landing spots, how to pull off basic movement techniques, and be fairly confident in most guns. That's enough to get you to out of silver. From Gold to Diamond knowing how to land safe, get a few early kills off a 3rd party and playing safe for top 3 will make it much easy to climb up the ranks. Most people get stuck at those ranks because they play too aggressively and die way earlier than they should have. Past gold, you're starting to need some more advanced knowledge such as ring rotations, building good communication skills, more advanced movement like bunny and wall hops, as well as better than average gun skill. You'll run into more experienced players so you'll often have to outsmart them instead of always out-shooting them. If you just can't win gun fights against some good players, it's often movement in Apex that's more important than just moving a crosshair, practice getting good at hipfire aim and knowing when strafing is needed. Some people over strafe and actually make themselves miss easy shots especially on unaware enemies. For Diamond and up you'll probably want to really start looking for a dedicated squad to play with as you're going to be running into some of the best players available and strangers make playing consistently enough to climb extremely difficult. This is also when learning how to watch your own replays and see what you can improve on makes a big difference as you've probably picked up a few bad habits from your climb and seeing them in a replay is usually the only way to notice them. Getting a coach, or even just another player who is ranked higher to go over a replay with you and point out some of the things you haven't learned yet or didn't notice will also help a lot. It's also when you'll be able to watch pro matches and see how they play and start implementing their good habits and decision making into your own play to understand the game at the deepest levels.

Could you do a terminology video plz. Apex legends is the 1st competitive FPS I’ve gotten into and a lot of the beginner guides are using words like ads and rotation expecting me to know them already. I know them now but it limited how useful they were
15:44 LOL, you tried playing pubs in this game recently!? 1 tm8 is ALWAYS not playing or 1 just sprints across the map and dies to the first person they see.
What I dont like about the game is that trying a new hero is impossible. You have to buy them and if you don't like them, you're stuck with what you have
Bru just level up ur account. Every 24 levels or so, you’ll have enough legend tokens to buy the legend you want. Edit: actually it’s every 20 levels. (23 when you first start the game you don’t get legend tokens the first 3 levels
Totally can relate because I don't get THAT much time to play Apex, and I'm really bad so I get minimal xp per game and so unlocking champions takes a long time for me even if I'm just earning tokens from leveling up.

Gold player here. Started on launch but took a massive break and came back last season and brute forced my way to gold with mechanics, so these tips are really nice to understand some useful concepts
This is perfect for my little brother he just started playing apex since I've been playing it a lot so I'm trying to find some videos for him and this will hopefully help him a bit
Been playing since the game released and I struggle playing with randoms. This video really helped me! Trying to find people to play with is a little hard lol
Randoms can be so frustrating but sometimes you have to either leave them if they do dumb pushes or push with them, if y’all breaks 2/3 people and pushes push with him the fight is winnable but if he goes down and your low health never be afraid to pull back a bit, also Ping a lot and don’t wait for them to rotate just go if they don’t follow and ping somewhere else and it’s a worse location go where you pinged
I got a question, should i install apex on my pc or ps4? my pc inst exactly great, it has a gtx 950, but i do feel that playing on console will be much worse cuz of the unprecise aim
Just getting the game now and I knew it would be quite overwhelming from the looks of it. Not at all as straight forward like Warzone. So much to learn, just hope it won't take too long cause I can't even remember half of what you just said already lol 😂 I'll revisit the video a couple of times
Stick to him then, if he ever feels not as good try out seer, it’s somewhat of a different play style but he is similar in the sense of being able to see where people are pushing from while aiming and his ultimate is good for when your getting pushes
13:00 on the other hand dropping by a spot loot 10 mins then die in the 1st fight makes even less fun I learned the most of what I know bcause of landing over 400 out of 500 smth games in hotspots dying then but win a few fights
My personal tips I want to give is that streamers know the game but don't let them manipulate you, when alternator was floor loot streamers said it was a bad gun, without it getting buffed or anything else getting nerfed, they started using it and saying it was good then btge community said it was good, same with Mirage in season 9, he was said to be an okay legend B to C and then he was higher A same season without a buff or them nerfing, so listen to them but think for yourself and test what fits you and your game.
Jumped in at launch but Apex kinda took a back seat to other games. Redownload last night and had a great time. Didn't win any games but made it into the top 5 a few times and won several 1v3's with bloodhound a Bow and an smg.
Like any game that involves cooldowns, it helps to pay attention to enemies ' usage of their abilities. Apex can get chaotic, but knowing that a Revenant Ult was just destroyed let's you know it's safer to push
What if I have experience playing apex but I have moved to a different console and account should I continue to play ranked once I hit lvl 10 or should I stick to pubs for a while longer

Does this game still have wonky matchmaking in pubs? I’m talking the mechanic where if you have a couple bad games it might throw you in a game with less skilled players but just for that one game.
Ill just tell you from my experience i was masters season 8 n have a 5kd this season 1 out of every 10 games or so i get teammates around my skill level rest of the matches i wanna be jumpmaster and throw my teammates off the map

Past gold, you're starting to need some more advanced knowledge such as ring rotations and building good communication skills, as well as better than average gun skill. You'll run into more experienced players so you'll often have to outsmart them instead of always out-shooting them. If you just can't win gun fights, it's often movement in Apex that's more important than just moving a crosshair, practice getting good at hipfire aim and knowing when staffing is needed. Some people over strafe and actually make themselves miss easy shots especially on unaware enemies. For Diamond and up you'll probably want to really start looking for a dedicated squad to play with as you're going to be running into some of the best players available and strangers make playing consistently enough to climb extremely difficult. Hope some of these tips help.
@@coolbrotherf127 thank you. :) this really helps.
Does this game still have wonky matchmaking in pubs? I’m talking the mechanic where if you have a couple bad games it might throw you in a game with less skilled players but just for that one game.
