I've really enjoyed this series. I appreciate all the work that goes into something like this - filming all the moments, multiple angles, commentary, editing - it's a lot of work that is easy to forget. It looks like these are just about the perfect bikes for a ride like this. Many years ago I spent a year abroad in Aussie and worked on a cattle station outside of Derby (Kimberly Downs). We rode horses but this brings back some memories of the tracks and river crossings. The iced drinks are legendary. Another option I've done is to take an insulated thermos (like a HydroFlask) - fill up with beer earlier in the day and it's still cold hours later for dinner. Thanks for taking the time to film and share this. Great stuff.
Hey Chris and Im glad its bring some memories back for you. This country certainly is great for adventure. Working a cattle station near Derby would have been a awesome experience. Cheers on the tip for the cold drinks. Have a good one now mate.
Sooooooooo bloody good. I was glued! I relived crossing cockatoo creek again with lotsa BMW bikes at the time. Exactly as I remembered it. Awesome, awesome, awesome. And Fruitbat falls. My favourite. Will need to go back for Elliot Falls.
Thanks heaps Jason for watching and the comments mate. I appreciate the feedback and hopefully soon some more adventures. Cheers and have a good one now.
Loved it mate and I know how much time and effort goes into editing videos like this. The Filming is usually the easy bit in comparison but often a bit of a chore at times. I do have a few questions on your bike choice but will save those to the end of this series. Thanks again. Looking forward to the rest of the videos. Cheers Steve.
Great job Craig, cant believe you were tossing up whether or not to put this series up for public viewing, so glad you have, its an epic series and def one of the better put together ones on YT. Cant wait for the next episode!
Hour episode and left like I only watched 5 min!! The ridiculous log bridge was something else, good effort getting every bike and person across safely!
I was nervous it maybe a little long but from the feedback most viewers liked it, so thanks mate. The log bridge was crazy hey... Im still shaking my head at it.. lol
@@Shadower75 You guy's are keeping a lot of us in lockdown entertained and inspired to get out there when things get back to normal. You are all legends👍
Hahahah she did have that look hey. Not sure why as the guys she was with were happy to hang around and watch us cross the creek. Anyway, it was good to have them all there incase it went pear shape as they were top blokes and ready to help if needed.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets major butterflies every time there is a river crossing. Great team work gents love the I've got ya back brotherhood!
Thanks Craig. My trip was due to leave July 10 from Sydney… so instead I’m locked down and screwed, sitting at home after 2 years prep. My eight riding buddies from country NSW just had their first day fishing at Weipa- Seisia in a few days. Very sad but your videos have been such a great distraction- heart felt thanks for the hours of work to get these up. Cheers, Mike
Mate that is such bad luck and even worse that your buddies got to go. Hopefully once lockdown is done a opportunity will present for you. I'm glad my vids have helped you though mate. Cheers for watching and I hope you can get up there one day soon.

Part 5: Best watch yet Craig. It had a bit of everything in it! Lot's of laughing, and concern from my lounge chair! But so happy you Guys made it work! The look on all of your faces at the end of the day at Loyality Beach said it all! Well done Guys! 👍😁
95% of that seems to be doable on an 1190. 5% obviously absolutely no Bueno. Totally understand the choice for the 690/701. You guys are killing it and the production quality is outstanding.
Cheers mate. I think depending on the time of year you go most adventure bikes will be able to do it. But the 690 / 701 is the perfect machine for it. Cheers mate
