Headcannon: There is a parent. They work as a photographer, and they try to show that they're mature and classy and stuff (hence hallway and the whole downstairs), but they're actually a closeted adult-child (hence the kiddy master bedroom).
This feels like the house of that one weird kid from middle school who you don’t quite understand why they’re weird because they look quite normal as well but then you go to their house with their strict parents and you know…
I really appreciate what you said about hard work. I was lucky and privileged enough to grow up not worrying about paying for things. I did have a job but my parent would pay for most things even if I didn’t ask them to until I was 18 and then they cut me off completely. I worked hard at my job but I didn’t do many hours so I had to really learn quickly how important is it and I realised how much I struggled to motivate myself until I had nothing and regretted all the things I didn’t do.
I feel like this is genuinely such a terrible way to raise children. B/c they do everything for you, it hinders you from developing your own skills, and lowkey places you behind your peers, even though you are ahead of them in terms of access, resources, and opportunities. If they keep taking care of/supporting you, then things will go fine, but if not, you're out there in world pretty much handicapped. And then, if you struggle or fail, it's basically all on you, even though you didn't really learn anything with them. Just my POV
In South Africa most of us (not rich people with a Laundry room) have our washing machine in the Kitchen. And most places only have one water port so you have to choose either a washing machine or a dishwasher.
I would say use all the creative liberties you want (emphasis on "want" seeing as you're trying to make a build you don't like in this challenge lol), but limit it to the basegame like the Maxis builds. lol I'd rather you do that than keep the build so limited and disappointing by leaving things missing or _concrete._ lol I don't think it's cheating at all, and I would hope that it would make it more enjoyable for you. I do like the idea of randomizing a new pack for stuff that isn't in a pack though. c: All those floors. lol .nwn.
I love how we always just jump into the video with no super long intros also I love these videos and the sims 4 tips lol Edit: I don’t want to be this type of person but Ty for the likes!!!
@@lisaspelarthesims I know! Like of course I care about stuff but like I don’t need 5 minutes full of talking about how you thought of the idea I want to see the idea 😭
it doesn't make sense to have anything on top of the washing machine because it's going to shake when its at the end of its cycle and throw whatever is on top of it on the ground, now you'll have to pick up fruit and a shattered bowl off the floor. there's a reason the washer is usually in a space under a counter, because the whole vibrating of the centrifuge part of the cycle will make the machine move, and people would absolutely put shit on top of it that'd end up on the floor
One of the most surprising things for me was how few carpets there is in the game overall. First thing that comes to my mind when I think of american houses is carpeting all over the place, and the game has very few and they are all ugly
Lol I think with stuff packs you’ll need to use base game as well 😂. Oh shit the stuff from cats and dogs match with my second pet stuff 💀💀💀 common EA moment.
This was awesome! Would love to see it again but you have free rein on what packs you use where (like maybe you just make sure you use something from each pack somewhere in the house) this was really fun to watch and I didnt realize how many didn't have walls or flooring! 😮
I don't understand why it needs to be every room with another pack? why you don't try to build only with these packs but don't limit everyone for just one room?
Yes, I agree. For another video I hope. It could be more entertaining and challenging to see Satch create something he actually likes with packs he doesn't like.

I feel like most of the world other than the US does that.

same!!
@@lisaspelarthesims It just makes the video even better
I agree with all the packs. Just surprised you didn’t add bathroom clutter and Star Wars
@@Eva-xi6cm yeah, its nice to just go into the POINT of the video instead of lots of information, updates etc in the beginning
@@lisaspelarthesims I know! Like of course I care about stuff but like I don’t need 5 minutes full of talking about how you thought of the idea I want to see the idea 😭
I think you should just use base game in the challenge, if you have no other options.
it doesn't make sense to have anything on top of the washing machine because it's going to shake when its at the end of its cycle and throw whatever is on top of it on the ground, now you'll have to pick up fruit and a shattered bowl off the floor. there's a reason the washer is usually in a space under a counter, because the whole vibrating of the centrifuge part of the cycle will make the machine move, and people would absolutely put shit on top of it that'd end up on the floor
It depends my mom has a LOT of stuff on the washing machine since it doesn't shake much
I like how you take on this challenge!
I like when you talk about your room it isnt too deep
I think Parenthood isn't terrible 😂
I agree with everything else though.
8:12 I am goosebumps girlie and whenever I see my reflection in the mirror, it stuns me for a bit
Every single build/buy kit and pack should have to include at least one flooring and wallpaper option
One of the most surprising things for me was how few carpets there is in the game overall. First thing that comes to my mind when I think of american houses is carpeting all over the place, and the game has very few and they are all ugly
14:42 omgggg I don’t have the my first pets stuff but I have cats and dogs and holyyyyyyy satch 😂😂😂😂😂 they are literally the exact same
The way you said refrigerator😂😂😂I’m dying.
I was hoping for Island Living items. And I'm surprised you don't hate the Star Wars™ pack
I don’t think he owns that pack lol
The Star Wars one
Lol I think with stuff packs you’ll need to use base game as well 😂. Oh shit the stuff from cats and dogs match with my second pet stuff 💀💀💀 common EA moment.

That's not really a challenge 😂

Have you ever done a rich vs poor flat mates scenario in game?

Omg 😱,, it’s so so funny .if you mine, would like to watch your build 4*4 houses 🏠 😊
…you don’t like parenthood?
No
Or laundry day??? Laundry day is a go to for me
