I used to put baby powder in my caps, it helps keep it loose when putting it around the ears. I’d advise stretching your cap on the way to meets so that it’s not super tight when your putting it on
But if you loose then it will not help keeping your hair dry... I use swimcaps mostly to protect my hair
bizarrasp this is true, but I don’t wear caps to keep my hair dry I wear caps because it’s a necessity. If I had my way no caps would ever be worn...
bizarrasp it will still keep your hair dry nonetheless, just depends on the quality...

I am a male with short hair and I just hang out in the pool. I don’t swim laps or do any kind of training or triathlons or anything at all. Just taking it easy at the pool. Should I wear a swim cap any pool any time anywhere? I have never worn one but didn’t know if you suggest or if I should go buy one and start using it or if I need one. I want to do what I should do even if it’s buying one and using it or not I just don’t know. Please Help!!

Your other caps vid helped me a lot. I went on to amazon because I needed new gear since I am just joing swim team and I based what caps I was buying off that vid. (Btw I am a silicone only user now because I have used latex and this video and the last helped me decide too

this is super late but i have a white cap and it’s starting to yellow (i wear it often for waterpolo games and swim practices) and it’s getting kind of gross... is there anything i can do to prevent it for my next cap?
I don’t think there’s anything you could do... it’s probably just a staining from the chlorine that you can’t control. I had a white cap that turned yellow after a few years as well :(

i like latex caps when i have swimmers ear and im supposed to be not swimming
How can u tell if it's silicone or latex?????
the silicone is thicker and you can definitely tell it's better quality the latex: just terrible lol

There are usually lines at the bottom of the cap
I only use one hand to put my cap on even I just use in hand to hold my hair then pull my cap on with the other. I do have HUgE hands though... 🤗😂
