- Somebody reached out to me on twitter to ask if I would be interested in helping out with their project for getting children into the water to learn skills to prevent them from drowning. Too many people drown in the UK each year and this is largely down to the fact that many people don't know how to swim. Here is two ways you can put on a swim cap for all you people not knowing how to!!
The tutorial starts at 1:25
thanks 😅
Even putting the cap on is hard. I never thought I’d have to look up how to .. for such a thing, but here I am lol thanks 😊
Me too I couldn't wear it my some hair came out lol
Thank you! Putting on my children's swim hats is a nightmare and isn't a positive start to their lessons! Thank you ☺️
Thanks for a great video on explaining how to put a swim hat/cap on Sophie !
Thank you very much for the video and teaching kids to swim! I was curious to know if you recommend wearing two swim caps in the pool and also your preferences about silicone or latex.
Hey I would only recommend wearing 2 caps if you are racing competitively but not in learn to swim just because there is no need for it
Thank you we've watched a few videos but yours was the clearest and has the best methods!
I’m so glad this video helped you
Thank you sssooo muchhh!!!!❤️❤️❤️
Especially for the girl's tip😍
That’s ok 🥰
Thanks great tutorial

Thank you 💖🤩
Questions:
1. Does the hat have to cover the whole ears?
2. Can we put a swimming hat on a HIGH pony tail?
3. Do you have a tutorial for how to put the hat off?
It doesn’t have to. Mine covers half my ears. It depends how streamline you want to be. I have put a hat on over a really high bun in the past so it should be fine but you’d probably have to do the second method. I can do a taking the hat off video soon 😊😊
@@SophieLDodd Thank you sssoo much for the quick response, and for the tips AGAIN! Love you! I will love you even more if you make a hat off video!!!!
Agree! I have EDS so have trouble with my hands anyway - this is really not an action I should be doing but if I go in the pool, it’s required near me, but…….. getting even a loose ponytail down or out of a band when it’s wet?! THAT’s the video I need to see! (Cause my hair is soaked to the root and dripping like crazy when I pull that cap off.)
I am a male with short hair and just hang out and take it easy at the pool. Don’t swim laps compete or do any kind of training or anything and was wondering Do you suggest going to buy one and getting in the habit just chilling at the pool? Should I wear one any time at any pool or do I need one? I want to do what the correct thing is even if it’s going to get one and get in the habit or not. I just don’t know. Please Help!!
It depends really. If you’re not there every day I’d say there’s no need and it’s a waste of money tbh
If it’s not a requirement for the pool you attend, I wouldn’t bother. That’s the only reason I do.
Thank you
I figured my hat wants to squash my brain.
you should stretch it out!!! no cap will ever be a perfect fit for a head, if it's too tight it's always better to stretch it out with your hands !
You can stretch them a bit on a football or a smaller ball
Okay but I don’t have your hair type 🙄
It’s still the same way to get them on
