What about a rock material with all its nice layers like unsplash.com/photos/E4OaUS9QaO8 or something different like fries unsplash.com/photos/qgZRZI-pKgM
So much changed in Arnold. Some nodes were replaced, some renamed (for example "refraction" is now "transmission", there is "mix node" instead some weird "alCombineFloat2" that I saw in your old tutorial :) etc. ) Maybe video explaining these details would make your old tutorials easier to follow. They are still massively useful! For product visualization I would greatly appreciate showing foam material like on the beer - thats a real challenge...
Ha! Didn't even know that Complement node existed. I'd just been using a Ramp Float node to invert up till now. This is why I watch you Arvid. You let me know when I've been doing dumb **** lol
Arvid you’re a beast! Honestly, I can hardly keep up with your content (that’s not a complaint). There is always something of yours that I’m trying to digest just when a new one pops up. I have learned so much from you over the last year. I really can’t thank you enough! I’m a different artist than I would have been otherwise thanks to your videos.
More of these videos man please I started to learn Arnold lately and I love it! there's not many tutorials around for it, I don't use Maya I use 3ds Max but I think Arnold is the same in both.
What Material Study would you like to see next? Comment below! Go go go!
Material study on water using standard surface shader!!!
Sea. Foam and sh^t.

I'd love to see some of these material studies done using Renderman! :]
You're amazing Arvid
Betterthan Crystal Clear 👌
That's so amazing !thank you for making the tutorial!!!
Should add sheen to the oxide shader. Graphs would be less messy if Autodesk implemented freaking Backdrops and a Blur node in the Node Editor.
GREAT!!! Thanks!
Thanks dawg
Awesome ..
Thanks 🙏
You’re welcome 😊
thank you sir
Most welcome
can you make a video on renderman in blender?
Yeah I’m planning that actually
