Unfortunately, you can't fix the typo in the dashboard. You'd have to upload the updated manuscript and start the proofing process over. It would sure be nice if they had that!

Not right now. I'm so busy getting a series of nine books for a Kickstarter release in February that I barely have time to read the books from my TBR pile. Thanks for asking though. In the video, you said you do not recommend selection of the digital right management. Can you explain why please?
DRM restricts access to readers, limiting the ability to share to numerous devices. Book pirates view DRM as a minor speed bump. Search on UA-cam for "how to remove DRM from Kindle books." You'll see, it's relatively easy to break. So, the only people we're truly hindering are the readers/paying customers. Build an advanced reader copy team, start an email list, and work with authors in your niche to hype the upcoming release of your book. I have tons of videos covering all those topics, so feel free to browse my backlog of videos for assistance.

How do you get additional photos to show on the product page for coloring books ?
In the A+ Content. Access it through the Marketing tab in your KDP dashboard.

No, not at all. Use the free-assigned ISBN, especially if you don't plan to publish that book beyond Amazon. I don't think you can add A+ Content to a book that isn't published. You'll need to publish it first, then add it. I could be wrong though, so check with KDP Support. Use the phone or live chat support, they're more helpful than email.

When filling the Title and Subtitle do we have to enter the "colon (:) punctuation mark" after the Title of our book?
Or will it be added automatically once the book is published?

You’ll have to ask KDP support. I’m not sure.
So... when you upload an ePub, does it automatically link your table of contents to your chapters? What about endnotes?
If you come with a formatted ePub, that should be no issue. For docx, it depends. If you use the automated table of contents, KDP should detect it.

You should be good then because that's KDP's software. I've never used Kindle Create, so I don't know what their margins look like.
HELLO! soon I am going to publish my own manga and am going to publish it useing this, is there any way it is able to support manga? do you have any recommended file size I could use for the manga? what is the quality of the paperback cover? is there a way to set an image for the spine and back of the book? Yes, KDP publishes manga. As for the file size, keep it small as possible for ebook. And the print quality is decent but if you go with full color, it’s going to have a steep base cost. Order a proof to be sure it’s a good fit for you.

Contact support. Scroll to the bottom of your dashboard, click "Contact us", then fill in the details the best you can. I recommend using phone support or live chat support. Email tends to be less reliable for immediate answers.

For print books, you’d set the trim size on the second part of the upload process. For ebooks, you’d have to format it as a fixed layout epub.
Hi Dale. Does it matter what the physical dimensions of the book are? For example, I'm thinking about producing a book with a physical trim size of 8.5" x 10.25" as opposed to a "standard paper size" of 8.5 x 11". Is there a problem with making it 8.5 x 10.25"?
With custom trim sizes, you will diminish your distribution. Can you get it? Sure, but you might want to research the trim size to see if it's a viable product worth publishing.
Can you add discount codes
For Amazon? Sadly, no. They offer the promotional options through KDP Select, but it's not a code and you have to have your ebook enrolled exclusively on Amazon to use it.

It's not printed for free. The customer assumes the cost. KDP still has to pay for their printers, get their cut, then you get your cut after that. If you order author copies through them, they'll charge you the wholesale cost of the book plus shipping.

On the keywords I've put in several others so not just one and on occasion I use a very short description. I will say, that even if your book has 1K words they will still consider it "low content" BOOO. LOL! Mine is more of a workbook but the majority of the book is fill in the blanks so, it's considered low content.

Hey, thanks for the kudos. And, you are NOT stupid for not knowing where to order a copy. You can do it one of two ways: Order it from the Amazon product page. Even though you'll pay full price, you'll get some of the money back in royalties. If you have Amazon Prime, you can get it shipped to you for free.
If you want to order wholesale copies (base cost), you can order "author copies" in the last step of the upload process. Or within your dashboard.
Should you ever get lost, scroll to the bottom of your dashboard and click "Contact us". The best options include live chat support and phone support. I avoid email support if I can help it. I haven't found them to be very useful, but that's just my experience. Yours might be different.
