Lenovo thinkpad E14 , RTS5455 issue

The customer had brought the laptop to change the type C connector, after changing the connector, we found out that the laptop does not turn on and there is a problem with Ic RTS5455 (USB Power Controller). After changing the Ic, the laptop turned on. and the laptop started charging normally

e14 model which year bro, many claim that problem persist even replacing the faulty chip

But in this case, the customer had broken the Type C connector and cause of the short in the Type C connector, the RTS IC had also perished.
