Do they nest in PA too? The Northern Saw-Whet is one of 10 species of owl we have in NY state. They will also use nest boxes, if available. They use a style simular to the Barn Owl just scaled down and either closer to the ground or higher up. The males either stay all year long or arrive much earlier than the females, depending on location.

Only ever saw one before. Landed 3 feet in front of my face while I was archery hunting years ago
