- In this English lesson I will help you learn words and phrases that you can use to talk about shopping. On any given Saturday here in Canada you will find people at markets, the mall, and various shops and stores to do some shopping. It is an important part of life, so it is important that you learn the vocabulary you'll need to talk about it.
In this free English class I'll help you learn English words and phrases like: shopper, shopping, hours, receipt, cashier, checkout, out of stock, in stock, fitting room, change room, food court, coupon, discount code, and more!
I hope as an English learner that you find this lesson helpful! Have a great day and thanks for watching this video about shopping vocabulary!
✅ This English lesson has a study pack. It includes the original slides and several worksheets! It is right here: bobthecanadian.com/products/s...
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Hello teacher, I always participate and ask, but I do not answer every question. I hope I do not have a problem with sending. Thanks
@@ghassanyousuf4617 If you ask using the form I will answer it if it is on topic. There were a few questions this week not related to the lesson. If you ask in the chat I do not get to those. I only have time to answer questions from the form.
They say that if you communicate with a person for more than 6 years, then you are already friends for life.
In 2-3 years, Bob and I will be friends for life.😃
I hope that then I can count on a discount when buying flowers somewhere in the south of Canada (?)
I'm just kidding.
Thanks for your work Bob! It was fun!

Shipping refers to an act of a product moving from one place to the other. When this happens and reaches your house it is Delivery 👍
Hi Bob
❤️
Hello Bob, first of all thank you for the great lesson. A question from my side: What do you call the product (for example furniture: shelf, bed, couch, etc.) that is in the showroom, and if the store no longer has any in stock, you could buy this exact piece cheaper? (I hope my explanation makes sense 😅). Thanks in advance, Bob ❤. I wish you a great day and a wonderful weekend. 🛏🛋💳
We call that the display model.

Bob!!! Can you make a video about words like concern, convey, control and congrats, comic etc. the differences in the pronunciation! Like, in the word control, we pronounce “kentrol”
I'll see what I can do, but no promises. I have a pretty big list of ideas to work through! 😎🍩🌳l

Hello Mr. Bob The Canadian, may I know how old are you ?
Hello sit, I'm from India, Lakshadweep. It's a union territory of India
Hm. Is this phrase "to be up in the arms about something" really means "be annoyed of something" as had been described? Because the translator gives opposite meaning. Let's clarify this moment.
Here you go: idioms.thefreedictionary.com/up+in+arms
@@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian Thank you for your explanation. Unfortunately, translators often mistake in such meanings.
I use a dictionary called merriam-webster, and I think the best thing about it is that it gives information about the historical and etymological origins of words. There are also very fun games in the app. I didn't know about the free dictionary. Now I know another dictionary that I will use, thank you dear teacher Bob. It is a pleasure to learn new things from you. ♥️😎👍
Is there anyone from Algeria ?😂😂😂😂
Yes😂😂😂

Hello, I have a wish that I would like you to fulfill for me, can you? This name (Arfan) is pronounced in the next video in honor of my dead friend who loved you very much
It’s not English Class. It’s American/Canadian lifestyle class. Because people can understand you don’t need to learn English. People who need to learn English can’t understand you.
I am learning English but I understand his lesson
Thanks
