The problem I have with the iguanas is I see dead ones in the canal now and then. I don't know what killed them. Also because they are vegetarians they eat a lot of aquatic plants and here in South Florida many canals are sprayed with chemicals to kill aquatic plants. We also have the canal bank sprayed with herbicides to kill weeds. Any time you see a canal here in Florida and it doesn't have along the banks of the canal and water's edge a lot of cattails and elderberry and other normal aquatic plants or plants that grow in swampy areas that means the banks have been sprayed to kill vegetation. The problem with Muscovy in South FL is their diet of eating garbage and because they are in people's yards - something the geese don't usually do, they can be loaded with pesticides. Yes, in other places they are a food species, and growing up down there in the late 70's we did eat them when dad got them in the Everglades, but wouldn't eat them now.
Dude this looks like the 55 community right around the corner from my place. We have tons of iguanas and geese in the area. They lizards come up in my yard and make an absolute mess. I am occasionally tempted to pull out my break barrel and make short work of them but by the time I get to the door they spot me and are already gone. We also have some other non native lizards as well. Wild.

Bro Tip - When using a grinder make sure the grinder & parts is as cold as possible and make sure the meat this near frozen. You will be shocked at how much easier it is to grind things when everything is ice cold. Some people even use ice cubes to go along with the meat to keep things as cold as possible.
I used to have and keep a few Muscovy ducks to eat slugs in my garden...I was unaware they had gone feral and become a problem...They are ugly but I used to eat them and they were fine
The meatballs looked amazing.
Well it’s not duck season here. And we don’t have Iguana invasions in our area so looks like i won’t be able to try these. 😅
But as far as the shipping meats and stuff I might be able to swing that on my front doorstep.
I think muscoy ducks are delicious they are the main ducks i have ever eaten
Alright ya all, maybe Not eat the duck (which are a delicacy in some countries. "Iguana Man" did a catch clean and cook! Check it out) but their eggs are said to be some of the best eggs in existence! Totally interested in finding out! Loved the vid guys. Peace.
we raised muscovies ( called "scogies" locally ) specifically for meat and in my lifetime have eaten hundreds with no ill effect -- just follow poultry rules and cook thoroughly -- I prefer mine grilled as they are a might greasy
Lmao he kept saying there the raccoons of the sky I’m from SC we Eat Raccoons to Lol the Guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about That duck is good Eating I hear!
What kind of air guns are you using ? Scopes?
Yes I’ve been waiting for a land shark video
Hunted my whole life and have never paid an outfitter, and never will.
Hey land shark I have watched you for a while and love to go out on the boat with you one day imagine!
I would make Mexican tamales out of those muacovys. It would change the way you look at it. Although, it might look like it we love that duck in many ways.
I'm gonna talk to a few of my buddies and see if they wanna come do this. Looked like fun!
Sassafras looks cool I’ll check it out (thank god I live in south Florida)
It literally makes no sense not to eat the ducks but eat the geese and iguana that eat the very same things.
Vic!! You gotta try the Muscovy Duck!! There’s no such thing as trash ducks!! Only trash cooks!! 😁 There’s a ton of recipes for these on UA-cam.
What type of pellet gun were you using
Did Buddy say that the ducks don't migrate? I live in Canada & we have them here. Everything freezes up here in the winter.
You may have them in Canada because people released them their lmao. This dude is in Florida where its constantly warm.
I love your food and your channel. I wish I could try the beautiful food you've been cooking. Keep up the great work.
Wild.
