Perfect timing I've been looking for inverter I can count on. This is a really cool inverter; I'll check back for a coupon. I'm definitely going to get on. Thanks for sharing your video Billy
You're welcome Pamela, the price point on this one is pretty good. If you need one you can give it a google search and see what comes up. Might save a few bucks. Watch out for shipping, different companies charge different rates. I have some other inverter videos planned, larger watt size and some that need to be directly wired to your battery. These would be for larger power needs while out on the road or camping. Basic day to day though and this one is all you would need. BB
The video description is great! This kind of voltage conversion adapter is still necessary. I bought this elecdeer brand not long ago. After using it for a while, it feels very convenient and good. Everyone can spare one.
I was thinking of getting one for my boat for a hot plate but that scene @4:11 has me just thinking flames in my cabin while i'm far from shore. Great review but im sticking to sandwices on the boat.
Hi Sir. I don't know why my accura mdx 2018 doesn't work with these. I bought 3 brands, the one like your, Stanley, dewalt but when plug 17in tv cable the light start blinking not stay. Thks
You need to see how much am load the pc and monitor are pulling. If it’s more than 1 amp I would go a different route This information will be imprinted on the pc and monitor
Most cigarette lighter fuses and wires can only handle 150 watts. Even if it has a 20 amp fuse and 20 amp rated wire that's only 240 watts. Which is the Most I've seen. They have some that connect straight to the battery that can handle 1000+ watts. But the vehicle needs to be on.
That's a good question actually. How many watts can be drawn through a cigarette lighter plug without blowing fuses? or should the question be: How many amps can be ...? I know appliances, like crockpots, show wattage usage and the wattage total should not exceed the wattage rating of the inverter.
Outlet inverter shouldn’t do much more than 100 watt. A 500 watt inverter should connect to the battery directly or have a connection for it that is rated for that high of a load.
Amazon. This one was sent to me by the manufacturer. I did not buy it, however I still have it in my truck and rotate it in and out with some other inverters I am testing. I really like this one and for the price I don't think you will be unhappy.
No. Those usually pull some amps. Look at the watts on your heater. Say it’s 600 watts. That would roughly translate to 6 amps. That’s too much for a cigarette lighter outlet. If you don’t have the watts but you have the amps just multiply by 100 to get the approximate watts.
Bill H. If you want to run a space heater in your car I'd suggest getting one that plugs into a car DC plug so it's designed to run on DC. I got one at a hardware store for about $20 but you could probably find them online
Still alright to see this review because afterall Inverters are still being sold today I really don't know why. But seriously I can't think of any device or appliance that isn't available to DC that you must invert power to make it run? An electric fan? Seriously?
The lighter plug on the inverter is not meant for an actual lighter but to power an item with a 12v lighter plug!!! haha Never seen anyone think to use it for a lighter! too funny! Guess a smoker would appreciate that but it's not the intended use for that plug!

That's cool
can i plug a buffer on this?
Bro. You gotta show us how you built that regulation device.
Maybe in an huge 18 wheeler one maybe
Won’t that blow a fuse
Just ordered one but I have a question. How long will the battery last running the fan on the Bestek but with the car off?
Hi Sir. I don't know why my accura mdx 2018 doesn't work with these. I bought 3 brands, the one like your, Stanley, dewalt but when plug 17in tv cable the light start blinking not stay. Thks
Hi if i bought a small desk fan from Walmart will i be ok to use this? ( Living the van life) i still can use one cigarette port when the car is off
What did you end up useing ..vanlife
you can use it
@@kim420moimoi6 I bought it
Would this work with a big vacuum. I wanna clean my car but I live in an apartment so power outlets. Thanks
I would think so. Maybe not a garage wet vac.
Use a small vaccum, the big one needs a bigger watt converter
could this kill your car battery? or shorten its lifespan??
im planning to install my laptop or put pc w/ monitor in my car. is this compatible to my car sedan??? thanks

i have electric chainsaw 9 AMP 60 hz,...can i run it with 1000 watt bestek inverter from cigarett plug or i need to plug it to battery ?

Will this specific inverter run my hair blow dryer and flat hair iron in my truck? I have a female passenger what can I say, LOL 😆
Lmao
Sir i have koyo inverter 500 watt peak power when i pluged it to my cigaret lighter it blown out my fuse why

Does it include a new alternator?
whare you bought it ????

would this power a small space heater?
No. Those usually pull some amps. Look at the watts on your heater. Say it’s 600 watts. That would roughly translate to 6 amps. That’s too much for a cigarette lighter outlet. If you don’t have the watts but you have the amps just multiply by 100 to get the approximate watts.
its listed as a 200 watt heater, mini thing
I’d still say it’s probably too much for a lighter socket to handle. Be better off coming off an inverter imo

Is there any effects to the car battery?
Should not be. This is not a large load on the battery and it should handle it fine. If it doesn't you most likely had a bad battery.
@@burbbilly and if I charged a laptop will it cause a damage to it
Is that hotshot truck 😂

He cut and trimmed out a lot of video lol
In an lighter plug is not an good idea .
Wow this is a accident waiting to happen 🤣
lol

They used to actually be cigarette lighters. My 1998 Chevy Lumina had an actual cigarette lighter in it.
That cigarette lighter is a ridiculously stupid option for
an power inveterate.
