I have about 4 hours of hunting vidz , but I will only upload maybe 4 15 min videos of the hunting 2014. I started to watch a lot of what I taped and my camera SUCKS in low lights and thatz when all the good stuff was happening.
Who builds these engines? What do you suggest for a simple, reliable, mechanically injected diesel with no electric's (starter is all right) for use as lets say.. a extended power outage generator in a Canadian February?
Big big difference between a 10hp diesel and a 10hp gas .i had to put a 100lbs of weight on the front of my kobata 12hp to keep the wheels on the ground even in 4x4 with it in high range 4 gear it will wheel y .the weight helps..
after all that the starter was not even that hot. And I have around 6 spare starters :) I am going to mount a 6hp on a skid and mount up a new semi truck battery to her for some REAL cold starts just for fun over the winter.
Video tape her! I am interested to see how much smoke yours makes on startup and how long it takes to clear up. Buy a tripod!!! or get your gf/wife to hold it.
***** To answer your questions I do have a tripod, in my opinion it didn't smoke that bad, I did use the glow plug also I had the block heater on for a little bit before I started it.

bare "kits" are like 7-10k + Your concrete pad is around 5-15k depending on prep work & how deep you want it and the psi and then maybe 5-10k more if you pay someone to build it. Maybe more if you need to get a lot of excavation done. (tree roots and stuff like that for a good base.

Stock dash will not fit anymore with the large battery I installed lol , The battery is my new dash !

24x28 (10ft ceilings) we are into it for about $50k right now that's with all the extras and infloor heat.

Dude, you need an air filter. You don't to dust the cylinder. Yes, unfiltered air alone, can ruin your engine.
