I’m 53 and never met my person.. I desperately wanted to be a mother so I adopted my son at age 43.. I’m glad I did it or I would have been sad for life

I am a woman in my mid 50's and I never wanted to have children. Children are not my main purpose in life. Never was and never will be and I'm totally fine with it. Funny thing, I already knew when I was a child that I don't want kids. Probably, I was never the typical girl that was playing with puppets like other girls did when they were kids. No, I don't regret it at all not having kids. Biologically speaking, I could have had children, it wasn't because I couldn't have had them. It was my choice not to have any. Ironically, at mid 50's I have my period still, my gynocologist even said that I still would be fit to conceive, so I gotta be careful not to get pregnant in my mid 50's. But I am not worried because I never wanted to anyway. I feel more sorry for people who have those entitled brats.
I read somewhere that after a certain ago living solo and no kids increases happiness. I agree that kids can come with a list of other stressors. Thanks for stopping by the channel and sharing.
I agree. Child free and absolutely NO regrets. Never had any desire to have kids. Best decision I ever made.

Thank you for your helpful tips in this video. I am considering getting a cat. Even though I love dogs, taking care of the dog is very demanding and time consuming. I am also working on a regular cleaning routine because - as you said - if no one is around, thing tend to get a bit messy. I would also like to challenge myself to meet new people and try new activities on a regular basis.
Pets are definitely a big commitment and not for everyone. Cats are definitely less work. Meeting people is hard and I just try to remind myself that it is hard for everyone and most adults are wanting new friends.
Why do some people never meet the one? I’m 53 , never married children . Life isn’t fair.
I'm not sure why that happens. I also think some people meet the "wrong one" and it appears like the right one from the outside. Sending you positive thoughts.

I love pets but after losing one recently I can't do it again the heartbreak is too much to bare
So that is my biggest worry about my dog. I will cry just thinking about it and he is still young. I'm sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine how hard it is to go through.
someone might laugh and i respectfully ask not to... try rats. if you dedicate your heart to lovely raise them, you will mean EVERYTHING to them. i regularly cried from them how much they loved me and how crazy they were after me. and it is a vegetarian animal and you can feed your bugs that are at home to feed them proteines ^^ they will part, hard to eat the killed insects from your kitchen or living room.❤they love to learn tricks and commands and want to be patted, tickled, they give paw to you. and you only need love for it and smart ways to show them, no food is needed to train rats. you can take them on big free spaces without a line, they can run free and will return, if you train them with very small distances first and FROM DAY 1.

I had rats as pets all through my childhood, my dad felt dogs and cats were too restricting and time consuming, but I loved my rats, just keep in mind if you are prone to sickness, you will infect your rats and it could be terminal.
@@HobbesCat i just never kept them in my bedroom:) that solved maany issues. i kept them in my big bath where i had a window also. and every visit in the bath a couple of times per day way pet-time. so you have never excuses that you today "havent had time". :)
@@MrJulka11 100%!!! we kept ours in the living room, and being a child (who is new to germs, right?) getting sick was a common occurrence. Whenever I'd get sick and get an antibiotic, like amoxicillin for example, my dad would crush up an amoxicillin and put it in the rats water bottle. I can't tell you how many rats that must have saved. Very cool you are coming into rat ownership as an adult, I'm so glad you are able to find comfort in them like I did. :)
@@HobbesCat aaalways check carefully before giving animals medication. our medics can be very toxic to mammals etc and we cannot predict yet, it is too complicated and unprecise yet! dont do it and never recommend without professional expertise.
