my thoughts on why the hornets radar couldnt pick up the slamer is because you are flying in formation with it, meaning that you are flying the same speed roughly so the missile is effectivly notching you! beacuse how radars work! i dont know how dcs has things coded. there is an f-16 training mission i believe with the hmcs and or with the aim9x and the last thing you do is shoot down a ships missile. i forget the radar to locks the missile or if you have to boresight the missile to the hmcs
The cooling tower that you refer in min 7 belong to a factory that no longer exist. one of them fell down about a year ago and the second one is getting demolished. just for you you to know :)
Get Tacview, and then one can replay the strike , even if the dcs track fails. Great testing, BTW.
