i'm pretty new for to fishing so I was just wondering what you mean when u say stay loose. like do you mean to keep the drag loose or to give the fish extra line so its not tight. I've been losing fish 1-2 feet away so this would help a lot !
I gotcha! So yeah when I told him to loosen up, I was talking about the drag because trout have very soft mouths and you can rip the hook out easily. The advice I would give you is if you can see the hook is not hooked deep or hooked good, loosen your drag a little but not so much to where there’s no tension. Personally I always loosen my drag a little when landing fish because if they pull out of your hands and swim off fast, when your line catches up it puts allot of pressure and if your lines frayed it can break very easy! Hopefully this helps and goodluck, feel free to ask any other questions you got!
@@BryceMarchetto aye thank you man that helps a lot. I lost my first 6 lb bass the other day because i didn't keep the line tension and when i reached for him he freaked out and got off. The next day i hooked him in the same spot some how and kept the tension tight and got him out of the water! Ya live in ya learn.
Then you didn’t fish mosquito enough there are much bigger fish than that in mosquito it’s a nice catch but he is long arming it big time and it’s a wide angle lense
@@MrJoshdeucewe estimated this one at around 27-28 inches. My dad actually caught one in cocoa beach measured at 33inches on a fluke! And I’ve caught a measured 30 incher on a fly rod in Titusville!
Just found ya all... Nice. But that can't be SE Fla cuz thats a big trout. Maybe mid to north Fla. Been looking at Ft. Perice to take my son fishing when he come for Leave from the Marine Corp this Easter. Hoping to get him a Snook or big Trout Thanks.@@BryceMarchetto
that is fantastic catch, i fly down to Marco Island FL, Gulf Coast to go after sea trout. Great video, only concerning thing i see though is the fact you are at the waters edge and even putting your hands into the water, you MUST assume that a gator can be there regardless of it being salt water, hate to see anyone lose their life over a fish, and ive had many times been fishing similar places like in this video and even had the gator attack and steal my catch. Love the video, but would recommend you both be way more careful, never assume your safe no matter what water in Florida,.....NEVER.
It’s definitely a big thought in my mind everyday that I try to stay aware about, as I’ve actually been attacked multiple times while bass fishing. Thanks for looking out 🙏🏻
Put the quality to 1080p or 4k60fps!
Tuffff

Gosh bro, giant dude, stud
I lived in Cocoa Beach and fished Mosquito Lagoon and North IRL for a long time. That is the biggest trout I've seen. Great catch.
That's what I'm saying! Dude might have had a record fish.

Tryna make yourself feel relevant because you know where this is?

How do you manage to only catch one snook with live mullet and water filled with snook?
You just never know where the big boys might be hiding. Kudos for letting that nice female go to live on and produce eggs.

If you would stop saying oh my gosh 10,000 times might be a good idea
Sorry! Ill say it 10,001 times next video😅
Don’t watch if you don’t like. Simple fix
slab
Try not to put you finger in the trouts gills. It lessens chance of survival.
WOW serious photoshop/spoof pic of the fish. Good enough video, but clickbait picture.
6:58 you can clearly see I screenshotted the video for the thumbnail 😊
