Bruh i found a new kink. so I did -35 curve opt all cores and PBO negative 200mhz. Dialing the down the 7700 to 5150 mhz. Was able to bring CPU Temperature down from 75celcius to 55 celcius under Helldivers 2 Max graphic settings on rx 6700xt with ambient temperature of 29 celcius. Without hurting a single fps from my gpu at 99% utilization. If we are using gpu below the level of rtx4070, theres no need to enable pbo +200 mhz. As the matter fact, Underclock your CPU by -200mhz. will give you crazy gains on temperature.
I followed the same steps and I got 20064 multicore score in Cinebench R23 And on stock I got 16980. It's a great difference and the temperature were88/89°C throughout the testing
I have the same 7700 but with a B650 Tomahawk Wifi, I'm doing +200Mhz -35co all core with a 95W limit(112W really). Went to 95W because the all core was only ~5100-5275Mhz, now it does 5250-5300Mhz ...
Do not set the vcore manually. Manually setting a vcore will negate your chip's single-core boost performance, which is largely what makes Zen 3 great.
7700 here. I had serious overheating issues when running prime95. CPU was literally hitting 95c+ with a PA120. After a few bios updates I went with PBO 80 lvl4. CPU hits 5.4ghz on all cores in some situations.
95c is the safe max temp that cpu can run(Tjmax). temp limit for 7000 series proc is 115C. Do undervolt to lower your cpu temp on high load. in this video section show curve optimizer -30.

Prime 95 was limited because of my TDC Setting, Cinebench by the PPT limit. You got to your motherboard manufacturers web site, download and mount to a USB drive. Then when post press what ever key it is to get into your bios, and select flash mode and let it do its thing

It didnt boot windows with these setting, i will try out different negatives and my cpu speed showig 3.80 ghz on bios, instead of 5.35 ghz like you. I dont know why

@@AzAzrael With -12 curve optimizer setting and if I try boost clock little bit even this setting won't work. I did a lot of research, only few Amd CPU can handle this much of overclock. If your pc crash playing one hour gaming section with -15 CO settings, dont bother to do more
Very stable in games. In an all core workload such as cinebench it will hit right at 130w and will get to a little over 90c. While gaming it stays around 70w-90w depending on the game with temps in the high 70s

@@helloweener2007 i got a 18730 score PPT 88 TDC 75 EDC 150 so pretty much stock no boost override and CO -26 and lowered SoC voltage to 1.25 ( was at 1.300 ) max temps getting close to the 70s, better imo than increasing Wattage and clocks for 20+ more degrees and more power hungry for only 800 point increase. gaming performence stayed the same and everything was stable

Stock 7700: TDP 65W PPT 88W TDC 75A Stock 7700X: TDP 105W PPT 142W TDC 110A Wanted: TDP 75W PPT X W For the stock it seems that PPT = 1.35*TDP So you might set the TDP around 101W I guess. When I tried different settings I had PPT 105 and left the TDC to 75A. CPU used around 82W

Set vcore 1.2, f10 +enter. This is the only setting you need guys.

Different Programs use the CPU different. Prime 95 was limited because of my TDC Setting, Cinebench by the PPT limit.

These am5 chips are rated to run at 95c. 75 is perfectly fine

It shouldn't hurt anything. Some chips might not hit the -30 CO but worst cases scenario it won't be stable or not boot.

In games, under a full all core work load it drops to 5.3ghz. With a pearless assassin 120 cooler, it stays around the 80s

You can give it a shot, it's possible but I would start at -5 CO at a time to see how far you can push it

You should find an option on your motherboard for power limit, or eco mode. The 7700 non X out of the box should run around 65w

Safe, yes it won't hurt anything. Worst case scenario it will not boot. If that's the case you can reset the cmos by shorting the jumper on the mobo
