I live in Humble and the center point map estimates power will be restored on July 19 😔😭 that is almost two weeks after hurricane beryl hit. Plus phone service is not working well so it is really hard for me to see news and get informed 😞 All I can hope for, is that the city is better prepared for the next hurricane.
Doesn't the state of Texas have an emergency response preparedness office somewhere who's job it is to oversee the process of preparedness? Oh yeah, Abbottt cut it out because it didn't fit in his budget.
I just got back from Kroger's across the street at the DPS office is about 7 or 8 pole technicians or whatever you call them so I stopped and ask them if they can work without work orders he says no they got to wait on work orders they've been sitting there since this morning and I have no electricity less than a quarter mile from where they're sitting
Reports of out of state linemen sitting in hotel rooms awaiting pay approval to work on the power lines! Also in the past their food and lodging has been paid by the gov during past emergencies yet not they are having to pay for their own! WHY????
U almost think they actually care but only mattress mack really does . If im wrong governor ,how about sending texans some of that rainy day fund ? We need help now not 6 months from now when fema decides to help .
