I think what happened here is very common. After I lost my husband in a sudden death, I could not stay in that house we shared. Every room I went into had a memory that brought pain. I sold it and moved myself and the kids out of the area. However, thinking back now, I wish I had stuck it out before selling. Now I would cherish those memories as I walked from room to room. My advice is, don't make any huge changes in the first year. Our minds aren't thinking clearly. I believe it's shock. Once that shock wears off and the good memories start to surface, it would be comforting to have those memories in a place where they were created. I tried once to make an offer on the home, but the family who own it now are happy there and making their own memories within its walls.
This was nice to come across and read. I experienced a similar situation, but I had no way to move out, and I'm still here! The way you choose to remember people definitely makes a difference, and I truly loved this person, so all that I experienced after was alright... but now I hope to find a way to move out and on with my life, for I think that if one doesn't, then the good memories stand a chance of becoming otherwise. Thank you! ♡

Well bit of info, we don't steal anything like someone said biggest rule is take nothing leave nothing. I've spoken to the son of the owner and he enjoyed my video and said he liked that I was respectful. A gun was actually stolen from this property before we even got there. Trespass isn't illegal in the UK and there was no damage, no break in and nothing taken therefore no laws were broken. ✌
Thank you for not going through their personal belongings and papers. Most of us that watch don’t want to see that. Very respectful video and how sad that the bills are still being paid but no one is caring for it. They should remove those deeds, they probably don’t even realise they’re there 👍🇬🇧

I absolutely LOVE your videos! You show great respect for other's property. You never use foul language. You can see the beauty in things that are decaying or neglected in how they used to look. Please keep doing what you obviously do best!!
This one squeezes my heart,so poignant and sweet. It's the bears I think..I can see so much of the woman in them, her love for collecting them and her care of them. And that on her passing, the man who loved her and shared a lifetime with her, closed the doors on it all in memory of what they built together. If only each of us could be loved like that what a different world we might have. Thank you Mark, for all you do. You exhibit great respect and bring us insight into an all but forgotten world. Bless you. May the years ahead be kind to us all.
Interesting that the outside of the house had years’ worth of overgrowth and decay but inside the house there was truly little dust/cobwebs on the furniture, which leads me to think someone came in periodically to run a cleaning rag across the good furniture - for whatever reason. Thank you for respecting the homeowner(s) and not riffling through their things. Loving your deferential explorations from here "across the pond."
There is a multi-pack of coke zero in the fridge which have only been available in the UK since 2014, someone has definitely been periodically frequenting the property as you say, and they have been staying long enough to store milk and other stuff in the fridge.

The Peugeot is a Peugeot 405 estate made in the 90's was a very common car
Really weird that they leave the property instead of selling it like most or leaving it to children
Beautiful home, poor man. His wife would want him to love the home she helped make for him.
