Drums on second half are crazy
During my listen today, I noticed that A.G. Cook wrote a countermelody to the "Ahhhhhs" that Mike sings before the breakdown. The synth he chose for that countermelody is so velvety and warm. It sounds like an extension of Mike's own voice, singing harmony with himself.
Always here for A.G. Cook's unique ability to distill the core of a song and shrug off the constraints of its original form in his remixes.
The concept and execution of this video is excellent.
