They came on this model from the factory, if you actually look closely the cut outs are the outline from the freightliner symbol, they look good polished but they only look good on this model

I ran both cat and new Holland skid steers but I fell in love with a Takeuchi! It to me was more powerful and for sure more responsive that the others. Definitely it was faster speedwise . Be a machine to look into yourself before you totally commit to buying a loader.

Take it from a guy who used to work at the plant where the CAT skid steers where built, I say go with CAT all day. They put them through the paces before they send them out to the customers and make sure that there is not going to be a defect if they can help it. There performance is even better. If I were you, I would wait just a little bit longer because CAT is coming out with an even bigger machine in the near future bigger than the 299D.

I worked for a deere dealer n I personally have ran a 299 at a cattle sale barn with a decent set of tracks n I would choose cat any day. Biggest issue with any brand make sure you can get parts from a local dealer. Had a few Kubota come threw the shop and we had to drive a hour each way just for parts.

I'd look into a kabota svl95. Incredible machines, hydraulics feel great and they are really easy to work on. Cabs are pretty spacious for a skid steer. I like cats but they are a real pain to work on if anything happens. The high flow on the kabota is really nice and powerful as well

Awesome content.... Cat skidsteer cab is to narrow inside, and the front bucket cylinders don't have bushings in them. Cat said to just change the $900 cylinder when they get loose... wtf. A Gehl rubber track Skidsteer us where it's at, or a Takeuchi, they have a tip in door/window (like and excavator front glass) that you don't need to have the arms all the way down to get out. That Jake brake on the Freightliner sounds really good . It seems like that it is going to be a really good truck and it is a going to look awesome when you get done with it, from all the things that you are putting on it .
I have run a Bobcat skid steer for years and I have been around a Cat skid steer several times but have never run one before . The only other skid steer that I have run was a ( I believe it was a )
Scat Track, it was years ago and I am not sure if that was the name of it . I ran it off and on for about 2 weeks and I had never seen one by the name that it was . I will see you all on another video, so be careful and stay safe and keep on trucking .

Your channel is breath of fresh air. Just genuine in every way. Also you will be happy with that cat I run one all the time it’s great. The Deere runs great too tho maybe even a bit cheaper. Cat is the way to go tho in my opinion. Not being a fanboy just from experience.

My old job I was a tech for Deere construction equip. The 333G could lift so much I thought and was an overall pretty solid machine. I would buy one, and coming from a guy who worked on them I think that says something. Where I work now we run cat, and our 299d3 is a good machine also, but I don't think has as much lifting capacity as Deere.

Paint the classic the color of the peterbilt and the look of it will knock people's socks off for a 2 mile radius. That is a good looking rig to make like new
