I love reading the comments, it feels like a lovely chat with encouraging people. My daughter moved this week and was finally able to retreive her cats that I've housed for a year. My main focus this weekend will be de-furring my entire little home. I will miss them but not the constant fur. My parents came to visit and wound up with a lengthy truck repair that delayed them here. Grateful for the extra time and that their RV was in a nice park. They are on the road this morning so now to laundry as well. All in God's timing. 💜💛 Edit: I will miss my parents too and glad they don't have fur! 😁

One thing that I love about your channel is, that you talk through everything. I love how you explain how you can keep or get rid of certain items in containers. Don't ever stop having a UA-cam channel.

Now that my kids are all grown and flown the nest, your recent videos reminds me about how I reallllly do not miss all of the girl's - soooo many bottles of allllll of the products and hygiene supplies. Now I open my drawer and I only have a bottle of Oil of Olay, one tube of body lotion, one deoderant and a vial of tea rose oil for perfume. In the shower I only have a blueing shampoo for my old grey hair :), a bottle of Dr. Bronners, and a bar of lavender soap. I remember how much I dreaded cleaning the bathroom/shower when the house was full of kids, just because of all the time I spent moving around bottles that were always seemily trying to escape my grasp and tumbling all over. So easy to clean now. That said though..... now I do have a small wash tub of toddler toys for my granddaughters visits, and I love when those are all tumbling around the tub :)

Love watching your channel. I really wish I could jump through the phone and help you out with organizing and going through stuff.
I would recommend finding a space like the linen closet upstairs to hold all of the refill /back up products so it's all together in one space. Like extra toilet paper Kleenex soap toothpaste shampoo body wash etc and label the basket or container
Also would recommend a shower caddy basket for each person for in the upstairs bathroom in a cubby holding system like the one you had previously. (Side note, have each person pick their products out that they use and put into a caddy or basket and then what's left is what you go through to see if you have trash or multiples and can even set it on the island like you said and say this is what is going. Speak now or forever hold your peace
One more recommendation a basket for all the seasonal towels in the cabinet above the washer or even take the seasonal towels and add them to the seasonal totes you have in the basement

And I even would put all the half finished tooth pastes and such in the linen closet and only have one of each in the bathroom at the time. When empty they could get the next one out - untill they are gone through all of them. I don´t get it why people open 20 of the same at one time - when I´m beeing honest. (Hiding the unopend ones till they finished all of the half ones?)
My son from DC installed a sliding barn door on my laundry room pantry separating from the kitchen. I am thrilled! He also has helped with many small tasks with his twin brother and helped complete the room switch that was in progress. I have a mega pile to fold and putting away and dinner to fix yet. A cold rainy day has helped move out the smoke from surrounding fires . I set up a creepy corner with my fall and few bits of Halloween items, over the gas fireplace. Garden surplus and clothing was donated to the local food bank, and snow tires are on. Feeling energized again after a three hour nap. I was worn down. Thank you for your support ❤

I store holiday linen and towels with my other holiday decor because then I always remember to use them and they double as good packing material for breakables.
Yes! To storing travel toiletries in your suitcase. I keep an inventory on my phone of what I have so I know what I need to buy when preparing for a trip and I am not quite ready to get out the suitcases.

It’s great to switch things out from time to time. I finally just moved my curio cabinet out of my bedroom. Moved it in there because my two year old granddaughter came to live with me. My daughter too. We felt like it wasn’t safe for granddaughter thinking she could run into it and get cut on the glass, she moved out over two years ago. Took me awhile to put it back.

for the hand sanitizers, I keep them in various places, one in the door pocket in my car, one by my computer at my desk, and one at each of the sinks in case you feel you need something extra after washing your hands. It depends on what I touch I sometimes feel i need something extra.
The biggest issue of those presweetened coffee creamers is the serving size. If you don't use measuring spoons, the majority of us use way too much.

Every time I go through my spaces again I find ways to tweek what needs to be there & to declutter. It has helped me to use up what I have and not have so much. The room spray I would put out where people see it or they won’t use it. Just set it on the window sill.
I have never been able to stand vaseline. i just use burts bees occasionally or coconut oil. your doing great. its a major undertaking, but worth it.

Maybe you should treat your products and cleaning over flow like your food pantry. Use up what you have before buying more. You can save money and space in your home. Plus the trouble of constantly organizing it all. (I don't mean it to sound in a harsh way ❤)

Have you considered removing the shelf where you put the sunscreen to store your cleaning supply basket that you put under the sink? You could also get a two tiered shelf to put under the sink to store other toiletries such as soaps, lotions and the sunscreen bottles. I enjoyed your video very much.
Things I see that maybe you don’t. Put the cups with the toothbrushes and listerine. Put the bath and body soap holder with your holiday towels. Put your dry shampoo in your hair care drawer. Leave open space for the girls. Get rid of the basket on the dryer; clutter on surfaces attracts clutters on surfaces.
Why don't you add the holiday towels with your holiday boxes? So when you decorate for the season, the towels are there too?
I was trying to move to having only a little in my basement and to keep decluttering and moving more and more upstairs…with mixed results!!
