- The Boozers have always said we like to do more with RC than just airplanes. We have cars, tanks, and boats. Today Papa Boozer and Wesley Boozer went out with their sail boats and demonstrate just how fun and relaxing it can be on a nice windy day on a little lake here in Central Florida. These guys had fun and we even drew in a little crowd that wanted to watch these RC sail boats go.
We hope you guys enjoyed this video.

I just finished assembling a Dragon Force 65 ver, 7 and look forward to putting it in the water for the first time tomorrow. Your description of sailing technique was very helpful for this guy, who has never operated a sailboat of any size.
Check us out over on Motionrc UA-cam channel also we have several sailboat videos coming soon 😉
I bet you're really enjoying it Jim. I'd flown everything for 40 years then got a good racing yacht and wish I'd been doing it 40 years too.
I Love RC Sailing. It's like flying a Water Radian
You mean water shrikeing
I to am a rc plane guy ... And right now I'm waiting for my Dragonforce65 Rc sailboat.
Like you said , it's all about relaxing. People look at rc sailboats like they watch a campfire...
I like the name of your channel, and your attitude to the sailing which is kinda therapeutic I find!
You should make flying videos too!!
Yea I agree, you don’t know much about it. I always have the throttle opposite. Up means tighten(go faster) down loosens the sails. Also you want to point upwind at an angle to make the most ground- with the sails tight as the wind allows without leaning too much. Downwind is called wing on wing. Love the vid guys thanks.
Conventional is stick forward for sheets OUT
Just started RC sailing, and this video was really helpful. You guys did a great job! Cheers from Canada :)
I wanna know one thing....where’s Papa keeping his pet GATOR?😛😁😎⛵️⛲️.....That looked so relaxing.......Enjoyed the video.
I rc sail a lot, you trim the sails to produce lift. An easy way to start to learn is to let the sails out till they luf, start to make noise, then trim the sails in tell they are quite. I talk about it in my videos. Have sailed many real sailboats, great video Team Boozers, Jeff in LA USA
Jeff in Lower Alabama they didn’t do too bad did they Jeff.👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
@@eqrc7587 Eric they had fun and did a great job sailing. I was just trying to help is all. Having fun it what it's all about. They have great sailboats, Jeff
Papa just run a ground and Wes about hit him that’s all HaHaHa HaHaHa just playing around. I know you will be able to help 👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻O don’t throw the Hawker away parts are cheap Jeff.
Awesome! We had a sailboat growing up and loved it. Dad just got into the RC sailboats last summer. Just like planes, a lot of fun when you’re with family and friends.
Does it come with Cannons :)
SWEET. The Old Man from North Carolina really enjoying how Lori makes you two look good. Glad you shared your fun. ✈😎💖
Hi guy’s just purchased a sea breeze 1meter, where’s video of details of fixtures and fixings of sailboat you mentioned
Getting the sails and your boat perfectly trimmed is part of the magic. If you like RC Gliders you will love RC sailboats.
Sounds like cleveland brown doing commentary
The little boat will sail downwind better if you allow the sails to extend further (sheet out)
All man that’s great brother!!! I have some battleships and a carrier. Fun man.👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
Hey guys just found the channel it’s so nice to see you both enjoying yourself together 😀 a little tip I learnt a while ago when it’s windy and you can’t turn let the sails relax and you will be able to make the turn you need the right sails and heeling of the boat to one side means you’re rudder is at a really high angle and instead of say turning you left it’s pushing the nose down into the water great video really enjoyed this watched it twice 👍👍
I found one for my husband at Goodwill today! It didn't have the controller though, where can I find the controllers and spare parts??
Depending on if it’s hobby grade and the servos can unplug from the receiver you will just need any 2 channel or better radio check out Horizonhobby.com
Been wanting to make a sandbagger If, I can line the lines for one
Have always been curious about rc sailboats. Right on.
Hi, I wish you a great week, be safe in these days of pandemia COVID19,for you and for all, let's go forward together) and thank you so much for sharing your video with us, best regards!!! What's new on our channel? Parrot Anafi flying over the amazing Castle of Marvão, Portugal... You are always welcome!!!

What 13 mph.. that's calm.. you guys are spoiled.. come on up to Erie.. 13 mile an hour is a good day.. lol.. ty4sharing!
I think I may get a sailboat too. I mean it's always WINDY. ✌🏼✌🏼😎👍🏼👍🏼
That's got to be the best pirate I've ever seen 😂
One sail open on either side is called WING ON WING.
Nice hat!
RCINFORMER you killing me Rich 😁😀😆😂🤣
It’s mandatory when sailing
Should be more fun with some basic sailing rules & theory! At 3.20, yellow should have given way.
BOOZERS !! ⚓⚓⚓⚓⚓⚓🌊🌊🌊🚣🚣🚣🚣🚣
This year I purchased one meter sailboat and RC helicopter, the helicopter was much easier to learn. But I see you are having some of the issues I have like not being able to turn at times.
Haha but at least when you crash a boat nothing brakes haha
@@MerryBoozerRC i sailed my boat twice today and I did better, your video was a help. Before I did not know that you had to let out the sails at times because there is too much wind in the sails. Today I actually made circuits and returned to the dock. A small piece broke that is a bearing for the boom, I should be able to fix.
Sailing (when you are on the boat) is just feeling the wind and the water. You blend with them and you feel what to do (it becomes like an instict-you do not think about it, you do it) to make you go faster. Rc sailing is a bit more difficult since you stand away from the boat. Nevertheless it is calming thing to do and enjoy. With time I am sure you'll ace it. ;)
Merry Christmas, Merry Boozers! I was grinning ear to ear watching father and son having a great time sailing!
I really miss my father and wished he and I could have enjoyed the RC hobby together.
Thankful to still have him
Buy a Glider gents.... :)
Is that a sparrow?
What a great way to relax on a windy day!
Ready to set sail with you guys!
Farmer man good to see you how have you been
@@MerryBoozerRC I'm going great I apologize for not being able to come down and fly with the boozers and sail! Ai ai captain🚢 anyway next year for sure or might be at spring nall who knows?
Hi guy’s just purchased a sea breeze 1meter, where’s video of details of fixtures and fixings of sailboat you mentioned
Word begins with an “s”… better use an apostrophe. Nice effort with the magic flying comma!
Lol this guy cracks me up😂. And there’s almost always wind when he flys!
Lucky 🍀 what can I say lol
Merry Boozer RC I went back out yesterday for round two on the f15 eagle and the wind was 7-8 mph and some gust and it flew very well but landing was a different story, I came in too hot for one and no hi alpha to help slow it down and land smooth so it bounced and bounced both landings, second landing well it landed bounced cross wind flipped it knocked off both glued on stabilizers did no damage had to call it quits and go home glue them back on. Wind makes me nervous on my plane but the f15 it didn’t seem to both it. I tried landing in the wind that went good I landed then with the wind that wasn’t a good idea. But it’s all good I learned from this to come in slower and give it as you say a little hi alpha, and it should land a bit smoother. So crazy bc my maiden the landings were next to perfect. Guess yesterday I got to brave😁.
