@@MrSkizu Blanka pod względem wokalnym też nie wypadła dobrze na żywo, mimo że technicznie utwór Janna jest trudniejszy do zaśpiewania, także nie jest to dobre kryterium porównania, ale trzymam kciuki, że Blanka wyćwiczy sobie tę piosenkę do eurowizji i będzie brzmiała trochę bardziej, jak w studyjnej wersji

For me and for most Poles he was better than Ochman because he had all the missing elements like charisma, dance and courage in being anti-system. Behind Ochman is a big label, lyricists and composers, and Jann is self made man. The vocals were mismatched with the track on the audience recordings sounds great. This was his first public television appearance. Jann had only! 10 days to prepare is amazing. Ochmann had already performed in a talent show Voice of Poland. Jann needs more time to prepare.

Ok both are great with singing, they just have different style- Krystian is more "elegant", Jann is more like rebel, but they both sing good (also both are handsome guys). But additionally Jann is a great dancer too!

I love "River" but I think "Gladiator" is much, much better song for Eurovision and Jann doesn't even need dancers. But we have "Solo". Goodbye Grand Finale. Maybe next year.

There are pretty severe accusations that the whole competition was rigged from the start - apparently the channel that holds the Polish national final has a history of promoting one artist above anyone else and then giving that particular artist very high jury points. Last year, audience managed to prevent that "channel darling" from going to Eurovision by voting Ochman so much he tied with the jury's favorite, and the tiebreaker back then meant that televote favorite, Ochman, went to Eurovision. Apparently that upset the channel so much that for this year, they changed the rules so that if there's a tie, the person with the most jury votes wins. They also cancelled the superfinal of this year at the last moment - most likely because in there, audience would have much more power over who goes to Eurovision. This is quite suspicious since, from what I've heard, by then Jann's song had started to gather such hype that it seemed likely he would landslide the televote.
So it isn't so much about some people preferring Blanka and some people preferring Jann, it's more about the channel, TVP, holding a national final just for show and to collect money from the televoters, while also making sure Blanka wins by giving her full jury points despite the poor vocals, and by leaving Jann with so few that he could never beat her, even if he won the televote. I'm not saying Jann deserved to win the jury vote, he had issues with breath control and some shaky vocal moments, but there were competitors like Dominik and Alicja who had near perfect vocals but who were still placed under Blanka. Exactly why did Blanka win that jury vote? We don't know, but what we do know is that she was the "channel darling" this year, the one who was allowed to promote her song on the channel before the competition, and the channel clearly doesn't like it when their favorite loses.
18k to 6k vs blanka, we rl wanted him on ESC but TVP decided for us (:::: Its kinda obvious for us that her victory is rigged. Btw, this is his first like-this performance and he just owned the stage.

Thank you for reacting to this song. There are a lot of reasons to believe the contest was rigged because Blanka was friends with two jurors at least and the voting rules were changed a few days before the show - which is why so many people are mad.
I suggest you also look into the lyrics of Jann's song because they are exactly about the dirty ways of show business and it's extremely ironic they did him dirty when all of the Poles (and foreign Eurofans) wanted him to go to Liverpool. It would also help if you could spread information about this because it's not the first time Poland is having problems with the transparency of votes.

Voting rules got changed 2 days before voting, where till now preeliminaries was fully AUDIENCE CHOICE. Górniak son is friends with Blanka. Egurolla's(other juror) studio is IN BUILDING OWNED BY BLANKA'S DAD and to top it, even if they hide it, Eugurolla made her choreography! And we got 'no connection' rule. What a LAUGH.
Last year WAS setted by jury, but Ochman at least is legit opera singer with EDUCATION. 🤷🏻♀️

This was Jann's first television performance. He wrote and composed the song himself. The song "Gladiator" talks about the toxicity of showbiz and condemns corruption. The irony is that something like this happened during the selection of the Polish representative for Eurovision.
Poland chose Jann as our representative. Blanka won unfairly. She was favored and had deals with the members of the jury and the TVP TV station. The jury was not objective. The public in Poland loved Jann and he received three times more votes than Blanka. TVP is hiding the detailed voting results from us, the voting rules have been changed 4 days before the competition. In the article at 15:33 it said that Blanka won and Jann was in second place, the competition started at 17:30. The rules for selecting a candidate for Eurovision have been broken in several points. This competition was a rigged! The Eurovision media announced an official appeal to TVP. The media in Poland and famous people talk about this scandal and comment on the situation . Over 75,000 signatures have been submitted to a petition to change our representation to Jann. The TV station spit in our face. They are still silent! They don't want to explain it to us! We are fighting for them to speak out on this matter. The song "Solo" is a plagiarism of INNA - Up. We don't want to be represented by a scam!
The jury and television do not listen to people. We are still trying to fight this case because Blanka is not our true representative. Poland chose Jann! They block our comments and want to silence us. We don't want to hate Blanka, we write her constructive criticism. She liked a comment yesterday that supported her. Unfortunately, this comment said that Jann is a social fringe and people like him should not be in this competition because he exposed his belly. This comment also offended Krystian Ochman. Hypocrisy.
We prefer Poland to be disqualified than Blanka to perform. We want all of Europe to know that the choice of our representative did not belong to people. Jann is our winner.

judges placed him on 4th places. one of judges has a school dance and his dancers are part of blanka's team. an theres another rumour that son of other judge has some connections with blanka.
